I don't need to tell you that the armor looks incredible.. Sewing is as much a mans job as a woman's, custom auto upholstery is but one thing that comes to mind. In the mid 70's a few friends and I bucked convention and took home economics, cooking and sewing, it was supposed to help us with the girls, it didn't but 40+ years later I do most of the cooking and recently pulled out the old singer for some leather crafting, over the years I've made dresses for my daughters, tents and duffle/carry bags not to forget sewing on hundreds of patches...OK maybe not hundreds..... you have a wide range of skills for a man your age, a man of the age, a Renaissance man if you will. A man once asked, disparagingly, how I could sew my daughters dresses or braid their hair, inferring that it's not "manly" at 6'2, 230lbs with hair to my waist and beard to my chest, first off I'm not worried but I turned the question back on him, "you are a boater how is it that you can't sew a sail or braid a line"? I always enjoy your videos and still chuckle over your ghost peppers. Hope you have a great time on your trip...

Let's hope no one thinks this will stop bullets. Seriously people, the steel is nowhere hard enough or thick enough to stop bullets. You'd be lucky if it stopped a .22LR - and you might still be injured by spalling. Cool build though. Would help in a riot.

You'd be surprised what will stop a handgun bullet. Especially something like a slower, bigger .45 cal would probably be stopped by this.

ELMITLON Yes, are you AT ALL aware of the physics behind a bullet? A .45 is one of the easiest bullets (Talking common calibers, there a lot of shittier rounds.) to stop. This is mild steel which is the only reason I said "probably" I've seen a 1/4 high carbon steel plate shot with a .45 and there was barley a dent left, The 9mm punched through and a .223 went through it like it wasn't even there.

This has no prob with 22 at all. I've shot very thin barrel steel up close with normal CCI twice, no pen. So it'll take most shotgun shells too. Pity armor's not overlapping.

Equalpower I'd still not trust it. Barrels are made to take a lot of stress. Tread plate is just made to be stuck on the floor, usually over another type of flooring.

I like the DESIGN, but the gaps between the plates just present too many weak points in my opinion. I personally would go with more of a lamellar (likely spelled that wrong)or overlapping plate structure and harden the steel. BUT that's just me, still a great video, keep it up bruh.

Technically most bows around the ancient periods were more powerful than Crossbows of the same era. With that said, a Composite bow vs a Hunting Cross-bow these days... Well it's iffy.
