I had forgotten the glycerine for leaves. I must try that again. I don't think I've ever used it to make paper feel like leather. I must try that! Thank you for the inspiration 💟
You know I used to be over weight like really over weight and I made a decision and took control of that so since the last day of February I started a new journey losing weight and now I have really nice walks everyday I start with a mile and then I walk 5 miles everyday, so I understand you when you said go outside and do something to feel better about all of this during this difficult time
Love your videos, thanks for sharing!! I am new to junk journaling find your videos very helpful! So after watching so many of your videos I find myself talking to myself! Lol 😂 Not only do I enjoy the learning you make me laugh!!!
Well....good morning (it is for me) girl! Thanks for the tips! I'm just finishing up 4 mini journals and it would have been so much easier to have bits already made up! Love hearing Holly in the background, I too have an African gray parrot, Festus. Oh the stories I could tell about him! 😉
“She overfloweth with abundance!” And we understand. We all have a burning need for more tucks in our lives lol! Goldarnit! Thanks for being you and for sharing with us ! 😜🤪🤨😎🤓
Your fun lovely craft video as always so inspiring love your videos great tips an I love nature too so thank you for the tip with the leaves many wishes to you Pam from London Xx
A helpful hint, instead of using tape for your paper I found using tape for heming pants and a hot iron works great you can put paper together or cloth on paper
Good afternoon, Pam. I'm just hanging out today and catching up on all your videos, I almost missed this one. I Love crafting along with you. Even if it's not the same thing. Sometimes just to hear your voice can be an inspiration to me. 💕❤️ I too like the maps. Thanks for being here for us🌹
Tucks are a great ephemera! I enjoy using them & stuffing them but yes, I use them up quickly, too! 🤣 p.s. do we all have the overflowing abundance problem? I mean, even though I'm good at throwing teeny weeny scraps away, I always seem to have more scraps after using scraps for ephemera...how does that work??? Thanks Pam - love from Denmark 🌸💕
Tucks are always handy to have. Goid ideas. AND: Dear Autumn, how I love the way you fill days with copious amounts of earths muted colors. You endow the coming of winter with a time of preparation which inevitably lead to my favorite holidays of thanks giving for a bountiful harvest and holidays meant to remind us that caring and giving are invaluable to each life. Here in south central Idaho Autumn means that the intense sweltering heat of mid-summer nights has slowly begun its retreat, steadily replaced by a more comfortable temperature and air that carries the deep musty smells of crops harvested and cool evenings. As I age It seems i have accepted and learned to appreciate seasonal changes as only slight inconveniences that reflect a year of life and growth. Hello to your lovely feathered friends and I wish you and your loved ones a safe hurricane season. 🐦🙏💛
Good morning, had to get my Pam fix this morning. So glad you show your scrap bin I though I was the only one with a bin on the floor, lol Well enjoyed the video I'm headed out to have a stress test today so while I"m on the thread mill I will be thinking about these things I want to make when I get back. Hope you have a awesome Friday Pam, take care!
Oh your sound effects make me laugh! Fun first! Yes, the saving grace for sanity is staying away from the boob tube! Keep creating! I agree, love your inking... lucky you swimming in the ocean! Love it ... a puppy, yay! Yes the sewing setup is the most difficult part. Thanks as always for share and journal ideas. I will play within idea a bit later today! Happy Friday to you Pam!
I love all your beautiful work!!! Love to watch your videos!!! Would like to know why you would not press your leaves in between book pages in a big book? I have done this and they become very flat . Is there a reason you would not do this ? Not being critical just wonder if they don’t turn out like using your method !!! Thank you for sharing all your great ideas!!!
Wish I had pretty and/or interesting paper scraps to work with...but I'm getting there!🤣 My saying is "be careful what you ask for, you just might get it". 😮
I have a lot of scraps, some from scrapbooking days. I even have those scissors from the same time. Pulled them out and started using them. Glad I keep them. My daughter used them too. Love you, you make my day. I have to get started on finishing my quilting blocks and putting them together. I can watch you when I do. Thanks.
All wonderful ideas a good tutorials! I'd love to get the Memory Keepers Tear Ruler Set. It has four rulers with different tear sides on them. though I did see on RU-vid some different artists that make their own tear rulers. 🐞🤗🐝🥰🦋😘
I purchased a nice plastic set in a crystal aqua color. So pretty. But a waste for me. I tear by hand or use the straight edge ruler most of the time. I should stop shopping at 2 AM.
Did you forget about Amazon Prime?!!!! I have bought MUCH MORE supplies this year ....dangerous but oh so fun!!!! And you are right....we will NEVER get rid of those scraps.... Lol but true!!!!
SOUNDEFFECTS...Pheet..Awww Awww Now You're rocking. Tuck it in the corner. Very efficient when you need them. And fun to make. Have a great evening Pamaroo. TFS. 🐕🐕🐕
Your are NOT the worst sewer :) trust me, I´ve seen MUCH worse! Making dresses and such, that takes time to learn, but to use it for art and craft, you CAN NOT be bad at it :) 💜 I loved all the tucks today :D Always a joy hanging out with you :) 💜
Hi Pam, my favorite seasons are spring and fall. Not too hot and not too cold, but just right! Love your space regardless if you think it's messy - it's YOUR space. That's what I dream of - my space to make all the messes I want. I hope you and yours are doing well there. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Hi, I was strolling by (ok scrolling, spelling police!) And stopped to see what you were doing. Was having an insomniatic night. I laughed so much! And of course learned something new tyvm. When I was able to snooze I was at least smiling. Yup! New subbie here! 😄
I discovered the world of junk journaling 4-5 months ago, when I watched a video of you working on one, I had never heard of it before, and I just want to THANK you so very much for all your helpful video's, I really appreciate how even though you seem to have Everything one's heart could desire for creating journals, you show us beginners all kinds of ways to work around not having something, needless to say, I'm hooked forever with my love of junk journaling and you Ms. Pam and your Happy, singing birds are very inspirational !!
The nicest time here in Texas is, to me, is Spring, then fall, then winter, and then summer....I use to love summer, but my MS, won’t let me enjoy it , as well as I did...and we have the river police down the Comal river...can’t get jump in as I use to...however, I really enjoy your tutorials and your humor, I miss someone with a positive attitude....😻
It’s Friday ! Good Morning Pam ! Love that we can always depend on our scraps to be there for us when ever we need them ! We love those scraps unconditionally! The tucks are full of awesomeness! Thanks Pam :)
Fantastic I love the ones made from old maps with the fine lace and rick rack. I have an old Rand MC Nally map of the UAS that I'm planning on using when I finally get my journal supplies unpacked.
Yeah, I got the same tearing ruler and I tend not to use it that often because it is SO sharp, I’m afraid of accidentally cutting myself. But it works great. For myself, I must practice extreme caution to use, though.😬 Love your channel!
I fell for your site when I heard you ask if ‘we had someone who arrives during the night to hide or move things around’ ..I can’t do this type of physical movements involved.. but it reminded me of a time when I thought I had given birth to caterpillars because of all the socks one would find ...thank you for sharing it’s such a blessing to us and shows how creative and brave you are
I love love listening and watching your videos. They are inspiring & a realistic showcase of what we have in our rooms & how to make designs with what we have. Thank you.
Isn’t it the coolest idea! I am in the middle of making a junk journal and was not sure what to do with the pages. So thanks for the awesome video and your sense of humor. I love it.😍🍀
I would love to see you demonstrate how you actually use these tucks in a journal. I am very new to junk journaling so I would love to see the final step in the process. Very nice video. You are fun to watch and make me laugh.
: when sewing triangles - put the flat end in first instead of the tip of the triangle. the machine will suck down that tip and create a mell of a hess otherwise, as you experienced. if sewing unilateral tri's, some people will start higher into the seam (as you did), or they will start in the middle and just deal with lots of thread ends. personally, i use a leader/ender to control my threads.
I keep pre-made elements organized and stashed in open containers. I have five bins of various sizes to store so all is easy to retrieve. Having to make elements as I go, for me, sabotages my creative processes.
Hi Pam, when you’re doing the book pages tucks, if you turned one of the pages upside down before you tore it, then you could put that one to the front so it was right way up 😊
I cannot wait for Fall, that my favorite time of year! My birthday is October 8th. I live in Las Vegas where it gets to be 113-118°. So I do not like the Summer's here at all. My oldest Daughter, lives in Florida and she's always talking about the humidity. Anyways, great video as always. Tfs❤️
Kem McCoy there is very high humidity here in central south Texas, too... I’ve been to Florida, Panama City & PC Beach and Redding Shore, the humidity there is not is bad as Texas, where I live...
Kem McCoy -- that's my birthday too. And I live in central Florida without air conditioning. I can't wait for it to cool off a little. Watching Pam helps distract me -- as well as learning new tricks from her. Enjoy!
@@barbaramorck2933 my daughter lives in Winter Heaven. I miss her dearly, haven't seen her in 2 looooong years. I cannot wait to go and visit her, just not during the hot temps or humidity. Isn't that something, both of our birthdays are on the exact same day! #TeamLibra
@@barbaramorck2933 idk how on the World, you live without air conditioning. My daughter, her apartment didn't come with air or heat. So she had to purchase a window air conditioner. Then I bought her an electric blanket, for when it's cold. You'd think Florida, would have AC. Try and stay cool, if ya can. Hopefully Fall will cool these temps down soon
Love this video. What color is the blue ink oxide? It's super pretty, so I might have to invest. I too love the mystery of maps and globes! Thanks for saving our sanity!
