You can certainly move the slot in the back rest up to give you extra height. You may have to adjust the length of the seat out the back. I would suggest cutting it a bit long and trimming it to get the perfect angle for you.

Yes you certainly can. Adjust the receiving hole up to any height you find comfortable. You will have to adjust the back piece a little longer to account for that . I would start with the back piece extra long and keep trimming it till you find an angle that is right for you.

Great, maybe, have another version with more color? Many ancient art pieces were completely painted with multiple colors, but most of the paint came off over the centuries.
Hi Lawrence, I use Vcarve pro for my CNC software and they have a feature for converting BMP's to vectors. I have also done it in the past with my Coreldraw and saved it as a DXF file to import directly into Vcarve as a vector. You might need to touch up some of the nodes depending on the quality of the original. Some of these images took quite a bit of clean up so they were not an excessive amount of nodes for the program to deal with. Let me know if you have any questions and I will help the best I can.
@@uniquegeekdiy Thanks for the quick answer! I use Vectric Aspire on my CNC (Laguna IQ Pro). I hadn't played with that function yet. I think when I got it a few versions back, that feature wasn't implemented well (if at all). I have been using a digitizing tablet (Logic Trace) to digitize some patterns, as well as actually trace objects - with some success - but there's always some node editing involved. Retirement has been put off a bit so I don't have as much time to work on these things as I expected - still, getting there. Thanks again!
Might seem like a silly question, but what sort of weight can these handle? I am a large fella and would hate to sit my fat ass down and break the whole thing :)

Of the four classes of chairs that I just saw? I'd prefer the "peasant" one, less fuss in the construction process, it just took two pieces, of the same 2x6 board to make it
Three classes were thralls at bottom, Karls were middle class land owners and merchants, and jarls were the nobility . Also simple tools? You have automated stuff I've never seen before. Wish you kept it simple. And as you said, if we are trying to be historically accurate, these chairs don't work. Waste of time.
I love your work but I have to say a little disappointed that you used a CNC for the carvings, Hand carving or a palm router would have been better, But I do like what you have done, Can you make a Viking chest
Hand carving is a different skill that I have not pursued. I admire those that do it. A Viking Chest is a good idea. I will have to add it to my list of things to do.
