I’ve been refinishing wood floors for 20 years, I have found that fillers are typically crappy and crack and fall apart way sooner than the floors need refinished. Although you do make the process simple, I’m not a fan of using it. Sanding it is also a problem, after it has set for 20 years, pieces tend to come out
wood filler does not permanently fill gaps. Woodfiller can TEMPORARILY fill anything, But the gaps changes all year long and the wood filler is those gaps isn't elastic enough to swell and shrink with the season and eventually break up and look like kitty litter. After I informed my customers about it they decide as some of them love the gaps and some are really bother with it.
It is not a solvent. Wood is rather unsolvable in terms of paint solvents. It is the clear paint that you use to paint the floor. You mix dust into it to create filler.
Super glue baking soda and wood chips will hold forever. Tried an experiment with oodles and noodles busted up with super glue dries fast it was a cheap idea and crazy how it will hold up. 🤣🤣
