Which i get thats why you did the tint..but if that tint happened to leak. Another thing you could do is add a rubber grommet and a nipple and you might not have to use rtv.. Awdsome video tho..

DONT INTRODUCE UNMETERED AIR AFTER THE MAF SENSOR. especially if you have forced air induction you WILL run lean (makes car stop making car noises forever)
While they were rebuilding your supercharger you should have just got them to shut the silencer ports, then u hear that in and outside the car but for everyone else awesome mod 👍

Mike Lange they are located at the bottom of the supercharger, you will have to remove the supercharger and where the flat bottom of the supercharger you will usually see 2 long oval ports and can see the rotors inside spinning when u turn the shaft, these silencers come in various shapes but they are generally teardrop or long oval, blocking them gives a huge increase in whine probably 2 to 3 times louder than stock and also with a pod filter will increase again so you can make an m90 Or m112 sound like a huge scary beast, (weld them closed so they never come apart and make sure rotor blades clear the weld properly as this is a risky mod that can easily blow a supercharger and in turn send shrapnel down into the engine so think hard before doing it) A thing I would try first is front mounting a pod filter and adding a couple of washers on the back of the hood to raise it so the engine noise comes out way less dangerous
Maybe just buy a barbed fitting and drill the hole and kind of screw it in and silicone it up because there will actually be no threads to screw it in the cheap thin air tubing but the silicone will hold it and clean it up considerably.then when dry put the hose on with a clam and it will look almost OEM !
So if you are giving it throttle and you cover the vinyl with your finger. Will it reduce the whine? Is it the vinyl that vibrates all that makes the sound?
wouldnt it be better just getting a little microphone before the throttle body it to a speaker , then you can turn it up or down & people outside the car can hear it too
I was looking at one of your older videos where you added a super charger. I have a stock 03 GT and would like to super charge it but I don't know where to start. Any help you can offer I would greatly appreciate. I am on a budget but not to bad with a wrench.
Gonna mess up your shit but putting the hole in the intake tube between the Mass Airflow sensor and the engine. Put it between the Mass Airflow Sensor and the air filter it you're dead set on having unfiltered air getting sucked into your engine for the LULZ of the sound
My problem with this is the fact you are using "tons" Of silicone to seal the hose in your intake. Silicone will dry and then come off and then you have rubber getting in your engine... Other then that good video
Your losing power doing this i hope you know. Also your fuel to air ratio will be all wonky and your introducing unmetered air drilling into your air intake.
Whys it dumb? That's like saying putting a differenct exhaust that sounds nicer on is dumb. Only the clueless. Anyone who has a charged cars knows about increasing that whine
