Hello, Thank you for contacting Schlage. You can delete all user codes with programming, then add new ones that only the current occupant will know. The issue is with the lock being paired to an app. Our BE469 Connect deadbolt is a Z-wave lock. To make the lock forget that it is paired to a hub, you might exclude it from a Z-wave hub. A factory reset will not make the lock unpair from the hub. Hello, Thank you for contacting Schlage. Your Connect lock is a Zigbee lock, so you need a Zigbee hub to control the lock remotely. You can use Alexa for as a Zigbee hub, but it doesn't allow you to add codes via the Alexa app. I apologize for this inconvenience. If you need remote access, then we would recommend looking into a different Zigbee hub. Thank you, Kat.

We suggest performing a reset on the lock then following the steps prompted in the SmartThings app to reconnect your lock to your hub. While you can set recurring codes within the Schlage Home App, the Schlage Connect doesn't work with this app and is dependent on 3rd party hub apps such as SmartThing and Wink. We recommend checking with our hub's website to see if this function is available and if it isn't, request it with them for a future release. Thanks, Jenny.

Hi, thank you for commenting. If your lock is not excepting your programming code, then we would recommend making sure the code matches the one located on the programming sticker on the inside assembly of the lock. If you are still having issues, then we would recommend factory resenting your lock before trying to program. a. Disconnect the batteries. b. While holding the outside Schlage button, reconnect the batteries. c. Release the outside Schlage button. *If you are moving the lock to a new door, install the lock on that door before continuing. d. Operate it electronically by entering in default codes A or B. If the reset was successful, the lock will perform a setup routine. Wait until the bolt stops moving. The reset and setup are complete. This should help you program new codes in your Connect lock. The Schlage Connect can hold up to 30 codes at a time. So when you enter a code, it will not automatically delete the previous codes. You will have to go through the programming steps to delete each unwanted code. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi, Isael. Thanks for reaching out. The color of the keypad doesn't change. You likely have a different version of the Schlage Connect or another one of our smart deadbolt.

Thank you for reaching out to Schlage Support. For the Connect lock. Deleting codes from the connect lock is the steps as adding a codes except you press 2 instead of 1 when programming. Please see directions below. adding codes BE468/BE469/BE479 1. Press Schlage Logo on front of keypad (bolt will extend) 2. Enter 6 digit programing code, orange light will start flashing (located on front of user guide or back of motor) 3. Press 1 (orange light will go solid) 4. Enter NEW 4 digit user code (will see green check) 5. Enter SAME 4 digit user code (will see 2 green checks) 6. Press Schlage (exit programming) 7. Test Code entered (if lock accepts bolt will retract) deleting codes BE468/BE469/BE479 1. Press Schlage Logo on front of keypad (bolt will extend) 2. This lock is Zwave, Not Bluetooth or Wifi. Only works with Zwave.
