Hello everyone ! In this tutorial I explain how I map the fingerboard, this is not only valid for cellists, but also for every violinist and violist out there,
There are very easy 3-4 exercises that you can apply to your own practice, hope it helps!

Great Video! I do not think I would have any problem practicing for hours having that magnificent stradivari cello. What a wonderful honor to be a part of its historical voice.

Thanks a lot for the tips! I already know the one when you play the 1 or thumbs before playing the 3, but the other tips are very useful!! I'll practice my thumb like that now😁

Hola Pablo.

This is amazing organisation but sadly far beyond my ability as a beginner/ interm player. Please would you consider similar for players at my level. Love your tutorials and thank you.

Hey Pablo! Quick question, what do you mean by mapping the fingerboard? (Sorry for the dumb question)
I think he means creating a kind of mental image of where the notes are and developing muscle memory as well.
@lenkagamine088
@lenkagamine088 3 года назад
Yeah exactly, he means to create that mental map so your brain knows exactly and you can make effortless shifts or playing in general. That way you're not struggling with intonation because your brain and fingers already know where they have to be
