It's plain to see how you got your measurements all wrong. You're using the wrong hand to write the dimensions down. JK I'm left-handed as well and couldn't help noticing. Great video and great information. Thanks for sharing. 👍 ✌

are just 1964 trunk extensions boxed ? on the convertible , I noticed this 63 is not. I have had a few x frame convertibles but they have all been 64

Some 58 to 64 frames are boxed, and they are referred to as Canadian frames. Don't know why some are and some aren't boxed. Canadian frames weren't built in Canada either, but for whatever reason, they ended with that nickname. Many people think they were built there but not true. There's a back story of how they got that name, but I don't recall the story. Maybe a Google search to find the back story.

Awsome info i have known these measures methods for years but with me that knowledge still realy didnt know how to measure but after seeing this vide it makes sense alot of sense with that being said opened my mind to can also level the frame and drop a plumb Bob and take measurements..there are more then on ways you skin a cat

I’m in the middle of building a 63 C-10 short bed. I discovered the cross member behind the differential is not square. Measuring diagonally it’s about 3/4” off. both long frames seem to be straight, I think it’s diamond. I loosen all the cab bolts and removed the bed. I’m looking into pulling it to see if the diamond comes out but don’t want to make it worse/cause other distortions. Do you have a video or suggestions for pulling a diamond frame? Thanks
