In this video, we will deal with a few different kinds of these valance clips.
Many are similar in look and size, so it's important to take the time when choosing a valance clip to avoid making a wrong choice.
Measurements are important when determining what valance clip you'll need for your blind.
After visually identifying which clip matches closest, measure your valance clip and compare it to the detailed measurements online.
For demonstration purposes, we will show how these valance clips work with the blind on a work surface. Keep in mind that you will remount the blind after installing the valance clips, then you'll replace the valance.
This valance clip slides down onto the headrail -- the valance then clips into it.
To remove hold the bottom of the clip and rotate the bottom of the valance out.
To remove the clip, place your finger underneath the back of the clip inside the headrail and lift it up.
This type of valance clip attaches to the headrail and then connects to a mounting strip on the back of the valance.
To remove the valance, reach underneath the valance to hold the clip while rotating the valance out.
Some valance clips snap into a channel in the back of the valance.
To remove the clip, place your finger underneath the back of the clip inside the headrail and lift it up.
Now you can order your new valance clips.
