How to NOT store all your photos and just select ones ? I really just wanna store some select ones, is this possible ? Selecting "Sync this iPhone" forces me to upload everything on the iCloud which I don't want to do.

Someone please explain. On my phone i have photos saved to my Gallery. Which is not the same as iCloud correct? Because I keep getting spam texts warning me that my iCloud is going to be deleted. Which is impossible since it was never there in the first place right?

I have same settings on and i deleted my photos from photos app and they were deleted from icloud too…

This message is super long sorry but it’s deadass gonna help u. Gonna help out everyone here I figured out how to add certain photos and videos to iCloud without adding THE WHOLE CAMERA ROLL. Go to whatever video you want to add to iCloud right, then click share and the click on the “Save to files” button. Now when it takes you to files, click on the arrow on the top left side until your at the start of the files app, kind of like the homepage of files yk. Then click on “iCloud Drive” and CREATE A FOLDER with whatever name that makes u remember it’s an iCloud folder (I just named mine iCloud😭) go in that folder and press save. Now go to actual homepage and then go to that same iCloud folder that u just made and download the video. BAM! Now u can delete it on ur actual camera roll, perma delete it whatever and it won’t disappear from iCloud. Your welcome.

Worthless info, it says that it can't upload photos because there is not enough space on the icloud, I only need 500 photos to be uploaded, it keeps trying to upload them all. It's easy when you have bought 3TB of space and show "this is how to do it" xD
