There is one thing I RESPECTFULLY disagree with: when she says "maybe you hurt someone move on because you're not the same person." I think there are certain things we shouldn't forget about, what if you were a bully? causing someone pain is not something people forget about or much. apologizing is nice and all but what good does that do? it doesn't fix the pain, and it's really more so about yourself than the other person if you want to relieve yourself of guilt, and trick yourself into believing you're a good person despite what you did.

@@margeryojije7862Seems like you have been bullying people in the past and now feel guilty about it, I use to be heavenly bullied by some for 4-5 years, well automatically ended because of lockdown, it still bothers me and have been breaking my current social life, what i will recommend you do is, go to that person/call/messages and tell them "I where just doing it for fun, my intentions was not to make you down but instead just that I would get pleasure for doing that, It was not you it was me, it's not like I hate you or something like that, i where polly mad for trying to get fun out evrything , we always saw you just as a normal person and you are normal too just like us, now I have grown to a better person now I know what is fun doesn't mean anything now and it was bad too saying all of those" And you will be fine,

@@margeryojije7862 bully's are criminals despite whatever age they are. They are not normal humans. At least I won't ever label them. So, if a bully gaslights themselves into thinking that they're a good person now they are wrong. I think Liz will agree with that too. They're are certain types of people don't deserve this mindset. Bullys, murders, rapist and some other. What liz is talking about is a different types of people. Let me give you an example. I had a male friend who didn't have much friends and was kinda loner. But he had romantic emotions for me and one day he confessed. But I genuinely didn't have any romantic feelings for him so I was honest with him that I see him as a friend. But I felt really guilty for some reason. Cuz I knew the horrible life he had and I was still breaking his heart. He had a lot of pains in life and I was giving him more cuz I know how bad it feels when the person you love turns you down. But I didn't have any feelings for him so I honestly turned him down and he was understanding. Despite that I still felt guilty. Cuz he is my friend and I knew how bad his life was overall. So, if because of that guilt I tell myself that I don't deserve good things in life, won't that be Self-sabotazing? ( believe me I was so sad that I hurt a person like that, even if it wasn't my fault, I kept blaming myself and I was young) so, I have to move from that guilt, from that shame. That it was not my fault that I hurt him. I genuinely didn't have romantic feelings for him. Do you think it's my fault? Even though I felt guilty, I should not blame myself and self sabotage myself. I deserve to move on from that and tell myself that it's okay. Tell myself that I'm not a bad person for not having feelings for someone. I think liz is trying to tell us to move on from these small things in life. Bullying is a such a big thing. They are criminals and they don't deserve good things. Moving on from your mistakes is one thing. But moving on from Bullying and gaslighting yourself into thinking you're a good person is a whole different level. Bully is done in cold blood. And bully's deserve jail.

I am crying rn!!! I realized today how much my parents have manipulated my choices because they told me that if you are a good daughter, you will listen to us no matter what. We are your parents, and we won't do you dirty, but NO, THEY WERE WRONG BECAUSE WHY THE HELL CAN'T I CHOOSE WHAT TO DO WITH MY OWN LIFE . Whenever we’d go to visit our family members, my parents would always tell me not to embarrass them, at the age of 7-12 I remember my parents getting mad at me for making jokes, for being "too loud" (got diagnosed with ADHD just this year, I’m turning 23 next week) Whenever I embarrassed them, my dad would hit me when we got home, or even in the car, he also used to pinch my legs on our way home. I, at this age am one of the most quietest person now. Not because I’m calm, but because my whole existence feels like something to be ashamed of. People were shocked that I have ADHD, because I’m too quiet, calm and lazy to them. I 100% believe shame is something you get taught, because the 8 year old me loved to talk, joke, play and sing.

Liz, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your journey is so similar to mine but you didnt let your situation hold you back from being a good person. I along with my sister and mother were abused by my father from a young age. I was friends with people who abused me emotionally , I didnt know what to do with all the hurt I was receiving. And I bled this hurt onto other people and hurt them very much with my actions. They say that you have a choice to repeat the abusive behaviour or be mindful of the consequences. I am ashamed to say that I chose to be an abuser to other people in my teenage years. It was only later in life that I realized that what I did was wrong and held accountability for my actions. When I came across your channel the past year ,I was still involved with negative friends who were trying to bring me down. I was constantly forgiving them w/o asking for an apology. Your video of dont have these friends was an eye opener. I immediately cut them off and focused all my energy on trying to build my escape plan to leave my abusive household. I am still trying, things are still hard but I am grateful for you to show me that there is light at the end of the tunnel no matter how far it may seem. Thank you for being an amazing person and reminding people with your advices that change is possible. You have to be willing to go after it!

Oh my lord!!... i was just missing her and literally watched her videos all the day today and was feeling hope i could just hug and thank her that how much i appreciate that she exists cuz i was feeling terrible but she made me feel better like literally her video came just today and got recommended as i opened youtube before sleeping it's like so unbelievable .....kinda feels like we are all connected just the universe and everyone, all are telepathically connected ❤. I forgave myself a lot of time ago for my mistakes. I changed so much in the last 4 years. I am so so proud of myself.
