Honestly you are one of the few who are dropping facts that are actually useful. I got into tech this year going the bootcamp route. I got out and applied to nearly 7k jobs with the help of my girlfriend. I landed a job which was contingent on them getting a government contract, but they ended up not getting the contract. So I'm back interviewing. I've seen a ton of youtubers who talking about interviewing and getting into tech, but I've found your videos the most helpful and on point with tips that I've been taught from experienced software engineers

Do you recommend looking at big companies or small companies when trying to get your first software engineer job.

Smaller companies may be more willing to hire you first especially if they have smaller budgets. Larger companies can be harder to get into but they may have more patience with new hires. That’s my experience at least.

You can only prepare so much since you don’t know what they will ask. A lot of how I improved was actually through failing interviews. I started to see patterns of what type of questions I would get
