I'm Brian. I'm a self-taught software developer from a non-tech background. On this channel I like to talk about my career experiences, self-improvement and making more money.
Great Video. Im at the very beginnen of my journey and i could actually understand most of what you said, because (unlike others) you used plain language
Also make sure that you build projects that use technologies that your region is hiring in. Being Australian, unfortunately popular great technologies which I like such as React, although in demand and I still do see listed in a lot of developer jobs appear a bit less common than personal unfavourable programming languages and frameworks such as wordpress, php, shopifiy, C#, .NET. Which seems to be more in demand than popular technology stacks like MERN which I believe is more popular in the U.S.A!
This is a great video. No crud or empty promises, just to the point, easy to understand and apply straight talk. If more people would make videos like this instead of goofy, fast talking flashy graphics and miracle solutions, they would get more subscribers. I like that you are articulate too. Nothing throws me off more than bad grammar and someone who says things in what seems like a different language.
I’ve been learning through boot camp for SE JavaScript, node is, react, Python, SQL, SQL alchemy, and flask ruby. Thank you so much for your tips very beneficial. I haven’t made it yet to an interview I’ve applied to many SE developer jobs. Thank you

I'm really glad I stumbled upon this video. Albeit, I wished you put the recommended site links in your description. Thank you for giving a roadmap. I sent this to my brother in college as well. I hope he finds it useful.
please suggest a minimum salary after learning Python and how to self-test check coding skills online, most importantly what salary is very easy to get from remote work coding, and part-time work?
I have worked at a software engineering company that actually requires a degree! You have to start somewhere. This person is against these colleges and universities because he couldn't hack the schooling.
