Its not working for me. Gimp always says i have to install either rawtherapie or darktable but darktable is already installed. No matter what i do i cant open a CR2 Canon RAW file in Gimp. :(

Hi! I replied to one of the comments below...but if you didnt get notified, DarkTable 4.6.0 seems to be the issue. You are going to need to download and install the version lower (4.4.2) if you want it to work with GIMP. Also don't forget to set the import settings under "Edit -> Preferences -> Image Import & Export -> Raw Image Importer". Hope it helps ^^

Hey i have a question. I have a Macbook air M1 and downloaded Gimp 2.10.34 for intel directly. Was that right? and my second question is what is the difference between what i downloaded and gimp 2.10.34 for apple silicon directly

Had this working perfectly with an older version of GIMP until I updated to GIMP 2.10.36 and DarkTable 4.6.0. I get the error message that no RAW loader is installed. But it is installed. I reinstalled everything again but still get the same error message.

Incase you have not figured it out yourself yet, DarkTable 4.6.0 seems to be the issue. You are going to need to download and install the version lower (4.4.2) if you want it to work with GIMP. Also don't forget to set the import settings under "Edit -> Preferences -> Image Import & Export -> Raw Image Importer". Hope it helps ^^

Same problem got error message trying to open RAW file with latest version of GIMP and Dark Table. Had to download and install latest RawTherapee v5.3 Gimp plugin for it to work correctly as shown in this video!
