How to open the battery compartment door on GoPro Hero 10 Black 

lol, I know this is an old video but I just got a GoPro10 because the other ones aren't in the budget and this video was a lifesaver! lol...I was like how do I open this darn thing?! THANK YOU!

Something must be wrong with mine because it would have taken my nail right off with that kind of force, and it still didn't budge. I had to use a flathead

THANK YOU Soooo Much for creating this super useful video on opening the battery door for the GoPro 10 oi Vey! that was a huge challenge! esp since i've got nails that i don't want to break. i now just use your method with the side of my finger so I won't break a nail -- but the technique to push DOWN and make sure you're not touching that other part = PRICELESS!!!!

Thanks for this video. I must say though, that the way you are doing it does NOT work for me without a tremendous amount of force. There's an easier way, that I saw on another video: You push DOWN on that bottom lip. It appears to be designed to do so. THEN you can easily grab that lip at the bottom and open it up. No force. No screwdrivers.

Thanks for posting Tom! However, my battery feels a bit loose in that space. I have a brand new GoPro 10 and when I open that door, sometimes the battery pops out of place. Is this normal? It does affect the charging seems like at times when it's not completely sitting there. Thank you!

How did you do that??? I've tried and tried for hours, but it's STUCK. I've tried to push, I've tried to pull down, I've tried to push again, etc. Nothing works. I can NOT open the port/cover. It is stuck! It's annoying. How????

My door is stuck closed and I can’t get it to open. The long part of the door is stuck out on the sides. It didn’t go in place all the way. The bottom is latched and I can’t get it to open. I’m losing my patience and want to just throw it at the wall now. Lol. I can get this to open.

Just got a the GoPro 10 ten minutes what kinda fn batt. door is this...what a horrible system.. perfect example of don't change it if its been working the past 8 or 9 times.. ffs! So Im guessing I cant charge while using it like I can on the 7...

It is a terrible design as if they are intentionally setting people up to break it. So disgusted by them formthis stupid design flaw.
