So many things today are made of plastic and expected to break down in a few years. As a right handed person, it seems it might be handier to have the spout facing the other way. Thanks again.
Hello Kathy, to assemble the shaft, simply unscrew the wing nut at the end of the shaft, slide the shaft out of the body of the miller. Then slide on the spring and the spring guard over that. Then reinsert the shaft into the body of the miller and reattach the wing nut.
Do you have any trouble shooting advice for if the skins and seeds won't come out the end? I assembled the machine according to instructions, but it just gums up inside the the screen and won't go through. Wound a new nylon bushing help this?
Hi! We would recommend blanching the tomatoes, letting them sit and cool completely before putting them in the milling machine. Second how to assemble Squeezo I've watched, and neither one of you weren't any help, i needed to know how the spring, spring guard and the shaft go together.
rillismac has a video titled 'squeezo strainer" where she details how to assemble the squeezo....it's a very well made video if you are new to this machine. Also, always turn the crank clockwise, in this video the gentleman was turning counter clockwise at first.
