Very nice job! Do you use setting base compound with the Can-Am 2.5” flusher after taping followed by lightweight topping compound and Can-Am 3.5” for final top coat?
could you try to explain how thick or thin the mud is when you use applicator. I'm getting way too much mud and it goes every where. the mud will come out of the applicator even wider than the applicator itself. tube nd applicator are brand new. ive used tube and applicator before and it wasn't as messy. still a bit messy but not so bad. any help be appreciated
trying to learn all I can, hope I can ask more questions. I got one right now. I just bought new can am flushers. is it true they don't work as well till they are broken in? if so are there any tricks to get them working better sooner. been having trouble finding information, so any u can give is very appreciated. I got a 2.5 inch can am roller flusher combo. ive used a different one before with a smaller white wheel. the wheel on this one is larger and black.. haha.. I noticed it working a lot shittier than the older one I got to use with my old boss. after flushing a few angles it got a little better. but still nowhere near as smooth and quick (easy) as the one I got to previously use. advice greatly appreciated
Shawn Bauer if I want to break in my flushers faster I use some 220 grit sand paper to take off the "rounded burr" and make the flusher more sharp. Don't run the sand paper across the flusher but with the grain kinda deal like a knife you want to sharpen it not grind it down. I had to do that with all my 3" and 3.5" flusher heads cause they just don't glide properly, like if you sharpen them up a bit they will give a smoother finish. Hope this trick helps. 👍
thank you. have you tried a roller flusher before? for me the wheel doesn't want to roll. like the flusher is against the wall but not the wheel. not sure why
