When I was still in RV sales it amazed me how during the demo how many perp techs didn't properly show how to use the fridge and other major items. Thanks for sharing!

Great Video. Curious as to why anyone would tow using GAS when most fridges are 12 volt??

In recent years with the introduction of residential refrigerators and 12 volt compressor refrigerators it is much easier to run the fridge on battery power or inverter. But, basic 2 way RV refrigerators are only either 120 shore power or propane (12 volt is only used for the controls). Because of this there are many people that choose to run the fridge on propane while driving. We personally do not recommend this, but there are many that claim it is perfectly safe. RV fridges just aren't as simple as they should be. lol. I've learned that mine is better to clip the thermister with an office clip. Yes the controls for the fridge will still use 12v power from your battery. But the power draw is minimal.

Does the fridge run off battery being charged by truck while traveling?

Your truck should have the 7-way pin wired to charge the battery in the RV (not all do but should) the 12v does run the controls on the RV fridge. some newer models are 3-way fridges that can also run on just 12v with no propane. But to answer your question yes the tow vehicle can charge the RV batteries while running the fridge while driving.
