I tutor English to first and second year college students. Many of them are English Language Learners or are in remedial courses, learning the basics for the first time. This video is easy to follow and explains the process of organization very well. I might start linking this in the feedback letters I give to students and as a mini 'homework' assignment to those I tutor via video chat.

I love your videos. As a middle school ELA teacher, I have used them in my classes. In Florida, we use the word "claim statement" instead of "thesis" for our argumentative essays, while using the word "thesis" as an overall term for the topic sentence of all essays, including the informative essay.
@5:34 The evidence to prove his or her innocence? I keep coming across this idea - the burden of proof lies with the person making the assertion, which, in a criminal trial, is the prosecutor. The few jurisdictions that demand someone accused of a crime somehow prove their innocence (like Japan, as I understand it) are arguing from ignorance, also called the negative proof fallacy.
Shadowfan1337 Yes, depending on your thesis, that can be a good way to conclude. But the main thing is to extend your idea one step farther by showing its broader implications.
