@@MMM-wh9iz that’s the set with the cool gold bus right? As far as good places eBay is great just remember to account for shipping and eBay fees. As far as price not to sure, best thing is to look at the sold eBay listings to get a good feel for the price.

Yes, a lot of people do that. It has to be very good quality tape and a more fresh of a hot wheel though. Due to some tapes being a little stickier than others and some hot wheels blisters being weaker or not glued well the card, when pulling tape off it may pull the blister off or crack the blister too. I have done both and found that when you package the hot wheel, if you wrap the bubble wrap closely around the blister it seems to be pretty safe. I have had very few issues over the years, but shipping can be hard on hot wheels no matter what you do.

Great question and here is my easy and honest answer… if it’s an expensive hot wheel it will be in a clam shell and I will greatly add tape to areas I believe could have water intrusion. The reality is, I’ve never had this issue and for cheaper hot wheels I’d gladly refund them and let them keep it, at least it won’t hurt the car only the card. That being said, the amount of savings I’ve had in keeping costs down in materials will easily pay for someone’s car if needed. I do believe the boxes I buy are pretty good at would easily protect against light rain or something, in addition to that it’s wrapped in plastic bubble wrap, it would have to be submerged to really cause any damage I think.

So the usps offers free boxes but you must ship priority which is slightly expensive but they fit hot wheels great. It’s the priority small flat rate

Cameron Myers most single hot wheels are 4 ounces some are heavier and make their way into the 5 ounce range. I fount this more economical long term money wise as shipping is much cheaper.

I just worry of residue and when pulling the tape it could pull the blister. That’s why I don’t but I also agree especially with heavier or older hot wheels when the blister gets brittle it could add safety

right now using ebay discounted rates its between $3.69-$4.59

The lowest I sell a hot wheel for is $7 now and I sell a lot so normally still worth it. Also great news is these packages fit in most drop off boxes so on my way to work I pass one don’t even have to get out of my car. On average I sell hot wheels valued at $12-$50 about 70-100 packages a month

I find that packaged how wheels sell better and faster however old ones like redlines sell in any condition

Theory or Will it really depends I normally do free shipping and just include it in my price. For one hot wheel it’s normally under $3.50 to ship anywhere in the US using USPS first class through eBay. If you don’t use eBay it’s a bit more expensive. For two hot wheels it’s normally 6-8 ounces and costs about $4-$5 shipping anywhere in the US

They are actually the same at least here in the USA, that said there is a bit of wiggle room for a slightly larger card. If it’s still to small they also make 8x6x2 boxes here amzn.to/4bzsusb

Great question. I have found individual sales are more common but lots can be more profitable. I find I do probably 80% singles and 20% lots/sets but it all depends on how you are buying them as well. Hope this helps.

Been selling 3-10 cars a week for 5 years… it works just fine. I think I’ve had one claim in those 5 years.

Jaymz Bristol I pay 3-4 dollars less first class those boxes are priority and these fit the hot wheels better. I ship out 5-10 a day and always figure the price of a quality box into my sale price

Jaymz Bristol of course you can wrap in paper but if the post office finds that’s what you are doing the package gets confiscated and you get fined it’s just not worth the risk or extra time. I average pay .15-.25 a box to be legit and have a nice presentation for my customers worth it completely

@@redeagle1598 I have they are hard to come by at a fair price these days. Well a lot of specialty hot wheels, treasure hunt and supers, sell some hard to find main lines, premiums and exclusives. It’s a great way to pay for my collection and use as tax write offs for taxes as well.
