How to paint clouds over a clear blue sky with Acrylics. This quick video shows how to paint a blue sky, horizon line and different types of clouds working from the horizon upward.
Colours used.
Phthalo blue (red shade)
Ultramarine Blue
Titanium white
Mid tone grey
Raw sienna and yellow
I didn't mention the raw sienna and yellow in the video, They can be added to the white parts of the clouds and near the horizon of the sky to add a bit more realism. Especially if you are paining a late afternoon scene where the is on a lower angle.
