How to Paint a Moon & Star filled Sky · Bella Luna 

Thanks for this tutorial! My adult son arranged a painting class for the two of us to enjoy this evening and we'll be doing a painting of the moon and stars. I've watched your tutorial twice to prepare for tonight's painting fun. I love the techniques you used.

Just now caught this video. I was looking for a moon since my nearly 2yr old grandson LOVES the moon. I would paint a silhouette of a little boy pointing at “the MOON!” Loved this tutorial

Amy, I just love your tutorials! You make everything look so easy and I learned very quickly that you are a true artist in every sense of the word. I attempted this lovely moon and even though the end product turned out pretty good, I managed to paint my table which I had covered, my fore arm, all of my fingers, my nose and when I looked down, both of my dogs have pretty blue noses. LOL Just thought I'd share. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your talent.

What kind of paint you use?

When ever i try blending the background, my paint always dries out too quick, even if I use a retarder, my paint ends up becoming cakey, forcing me to stop.

Other than the fact that this is absolutely amazing and that i love this channel, I agree that not enough people give those little paints credit! I love them and I use them for basically everything and it makes me happy to them being used for awesome things like this!

I got new paint for christmas and loved painting this!

Why the hell is ugly art that you can't even make out so expensive? That moon painting she did jumps off the paper,looks realer than the moon we all see in the sky at night! Her painting should be $500,000.00.. I'm mad at artists who squat over a canvas 1-6 hours after they drink a bottle of Magnesium Citrate and make 100s of thousands.
