If you have lost patience with your waterbrush, get it out again and try these little birds! It's so easy to handle and makes watercolor painting so much easier! Once you've done the birds, then try some roses! I am astonished at how liberating these brushes are! Diane, I've been asking myself why I love your channel so much. It could be your calming voice, or your honesty in the way you approach your art, when you are not quite sure of which direction it's going to go, i.e. ink wash, no ink wash? Or as in this case, your comment...."Experimental, which may or may not work out." The photography, the soothing music, your paint strokes, the way you make every single piece of art come to life in a stunning and vibrant form, or your sweet farm animals. I've come to realize it is a combination of all that you and Tamsin have created and I am forever grateful for the gifts that you both are sharing with your fans. I love seeing your channel grow. Carolyn, you are an absolute breath of vital energy! Just yesterday Tamsin was wondering aloud whether people could see how much work she puts into the videos and although I was saying of course they can, she isn't sure. Well, I'm sure, and you've confirmed that. She makes the videos into a little work of art in themselves, all I do is turn on the camera and say a little prayer! Hi Trina, and so lovely to hear from you! I hope that you are recovering quickly from your op. What a horrendous thing to have to go through at this difficult time. But I bet you'll be up and hopping around like a spring chicken in no time at all, I've heard such good things about the benefits of that operation. I'm working hard at coming up with things that are easy and pleasing to do and I'm thrilled at the result of the little birds I just put up. Keep a look out and tonight there should be some easy to do flowers as well. I love this water brush and it makes doing roses, for example, ten times easier!!!! Thanks so much for your lovely appreciative comments, and I send you all my very best wishes for a quick and full return to your tennis playing days!

I have different water brushes that I haven’t used yet. The birds are perfect for using the water brush. I am anxious to try the bird painting. This is one of my favorite paintings. I have trouble drawing birds. You make them look so easy to draw.

I recently found out I have AMD and it has severely limited my vision and what/how I paint. The reason I say all this is because your style of painting, the medium and loose/ casual approach has made it possible for me to continue painting! I am so grateful. I was following my acrylic artists and went down the page and saw this watercolor I haven't really painted any watercolor but I saw this and thought, I am going to give this a try. Thank you so much for your tutorial, I have all my supplies, so there is no reason for me to put them off. 💕

Hi Cynthia and welcome to the channel! So good that you discovered us. I think you could also use your acrylics to paint in the watercolor style too, I have done that in the past, you just have to be a bit quicker about it! I might rake out my acrylics a do something with them x

👍👍. Great video. I love the wet on wet technique for a softer look. I've been using watercolors for 40+ years and am looking forward to painting my local birds that I care for year round as they come and go. My daughter in W. Texas will be getting cards with my hand painted birds for Xmas this year 2021 🎄. 🙋 Nana in se OK usa
