How to paint Salamanders Space Marines of Warhammer 40K without an airbrush, using a simple sponge technique to base the model, and then employing a brush to edge highlight specific areas. Finally, apply Streaking Grime to provide shading and depth.

I realy like your sponge technique, i would love to see you painting a crimson fist and maybe a dreadnougt incl. Weather effect to😮 I already found this sponges on Amazon but what is it you use for holding it? Is this a special tweezer? You should place affiliate links for everything you use in the videos ❤

Thanks, I might eventually paint one. The tweezers are called reverse tweezers, I got them at an electronics store.

Thanks! 😄 The lantern on the power pack is from the Black Templar upgrade spue. The shoulder and loincloth are just "sculpted" green stuff.

@@AnotherDayMiniaturesI feel the pain. I started painting recently, and without any lore knowledge it was tricky to remember so many weird names. Once I got some lore it clicked a bit more.

Hey 😀 I bought mine in bulk at the art store. They usually just call them yellow synthetic painting/art sponges. They come in this round 3inch shape, sometimes you can find them in hardware stores for car polishing.

Liquitex Emerald Green is acrylic paint does that work good on miniatures or do I need to dilute it alot?

It works the same as other acrylic paints, but you always want to thin your paints with a bit of water. The biggest difference is you have a lot longer to work with before it's fully dry. Even after it appears almost dry you can reactivate it with water.
