I've never exercised my whole life...I guess I was brought up in a society where you are forced to exercise as a punishment which made working out bad in my eyes...but now...After many years I've finally managed to make a positive mindset and an exercising from last 4 months and I feel so good mentally and physically after working out....I feel as bad energy has been used to work out and now I am filled with happy positive energy....and I have been working out following your vids girl 😍 may Allah bless you in this qorld and the next one you have been a great help to so many ppl like me 😊 thank you so much

My muscles were kiling me after my workout some times I couldn't even walk properly but now that you help me to do my warmup and cooldown properly, well WOW! Its insane! I feel great after my workout and the pain is at the lowest rate it could be! I'M really thankful Joanna,you are awesome!

I am 17 years old girl. after warm up i perform ur 10000 calories burn challenge in 30 days. after that challenge my body was totally paining.my palms turned little blue. but after performing this cooling down method everything became perfect and I felt soooo relaxed. today is my first day. everybody please wish me luck. and at the end of the workout thanks a lot joanna.love u a lot. ❤❤❤❤❤

Love this! In elementary & middle school gym classes, WE ALWAYS DID WARM-UPS AND COOL DOWNS. The 80s & 90s fitness programs included both in their 30 minute and one- your programs. It seems these days, fitness experts (trainers in gyms or fit clubs or boot camps -- not sure about the boutiques) ONLY focus on the workouts. Some tell you to figure out your own warm up or cool down. I feel it should be part of the training especially if I'm paying for it. Thanks for sharing, Joanna Soh!

@@manognakappagantula9298 coming from a personal trainer: Eat enough protein, foam roll after your workout and also the day after if you are very sore. Do leg stretches and sleep/rest enough!

Hi Johanna, I have been following your videos for about 16 months now. I have kept myself fit since i was a kid ! I am 77 years old and proof exercise works,as long as you stick to it. I always warm up and down and stretch. I recently did a test on U-tube and told the truth. My physical age in that test was 48-52. Age is just a number plus don't smoke or drink! Stan.

Doing this from almost 9 months.. just love it.. only problem is the last exercise in warmup makes me have vomiting sensation and dizziness because of bending.. so i just skip it. Otherwise, I won't be able to continue exercising

I really don't regret doing this ! It is worth the few extra minutes , on the cool down I was SHAKING because I did a HIIT workout and it made me shake less . Thankyou !you're a big inspiration

No, it does not mean you're not buring calories. It just means that your sweat glands isn't as reactive. Sweating doesn't means you're burning calories, YOU ARE MOSTLY LOSING WATER CONTENT IN YOUR BODY when sweating. You will burn calories when your heart beat raises. So don't wory too much when you're not sweating ☺️

this is everything! I do this routine everyday and it's sooo good. My workouts feel harder any time i skip warmup and the next day I'm weaker if i don't do my cooldown stretches.

Wow, wow & wow. Thanks. Recently I met with knee injury with overconfidence. To reduce weight fast without doing proper warmup to save time I have done workout heavy directly & then I had knee inflammation. & I have to stop all workout 3week..previously when I was following proper schedule of doing proper warmup I had never met with any injury

Omg yes finally a good video about warm up & cool down! Yes I'm one of those people who tend to skip the warm up or I just dance a bit for it. But I mostly forget the cool down or there hasn't been a good one. Hopefully now that they are both in the same video from an awesome motivator, I'll manage to do both from now on!

Before m doing other warmup exercise , few time I felt few cramps and muscle pain... But after doing this I m very happy to do...... Now I do 1 hour workout in between warm up and cool down

You can do low impact version of jumping jacks, instead of original jumping jacks.

This video came out right on time for my weight loss journey , i watch it everytime i workout and i just love to strech out with joanna because she never fails to make me laugh even if i just did the worst workout ever ( lol ) . Been following joanna for years and i finally managed to make a workout routine and started eating clean with her meal plans ( 8 kg down in 2 months ! ) and i wanted to thank her for her positive mindset and her amazing videos that inspired me and so many other peoples to finally go for the body we want and we deserve !
