I would like to get better at shooting group photos. In particular the bridal party, brides maids and grooms men. Can you please focus on these setups?
would love to see a video on what you take out on a day, i like that strap system you have. Having shot last weekend i am found a lot of things i wasn't happy with my existing 2 strap system, yours looks quite controlled and a handy pouch for spare items as you shoot. Anyways just thought i would ask, i haven't see an old video on it, unless its within another video you have done, can you advise if you have one on it?
Anchor & Veil Photography What I like about your channel is actually seeing you at a wedding day, showing lenses used and process you go through, subbed and belled for new videos, got a good feeling for your channel, I’d describe it for me as direct, straight to the point and in no way pretentious. GL with this channel.
Was wondering why you didn't use a tripod? So you can shoot at f8 at the lowest possible ISO. Is it going to be considered a long exposure if your shutter speeds drop down?
Hey! Could totally do that, but that isn't the way that I shoot. I like to keep a really small profile and I dont want to carry around a tripod. I also never shoot f8. This is a look that I like.
So glad I stumbled across your channel yesterday! Such great content!! Out of curiosity, when you guys are shooting wedding receptions, what type of lighting equipment do you use? Do you guys use any strobes or do you primarily stick to speedlights?
I always love your detail variations! How much time do you usually give yourself to photograph details? I find that I get frantic and frazzled even when giving myself 45 minutes! :o
Hey Kiyah! Thanks girl, I would say about 10-15 minutes at least. Its a good amount of time to find location/light as well as style it! Don't be frazzled. Doing the same thing at every wedding is ok, its not the same thing to your client because its theirs. Start with a base and change things up from there!
Being that its very bright outside and the items are right up against the window with full sun coming in the shot is probably already over exposed at iso 100 f2.0 and shutter say like125, so he most likely had to bump up the shutter to 640 to reduce the light in the shot to be properly exposed.
