Nice video! I wonder if calculating cubic feet would be more accurate for vaulted ceilings and closets or cut outs etc.?

I want to install a wall heater on the same wall where I had removed old baseboard heater. All the wiring is still there. The wall heater needs to be moved a few feet and I am concerned that the wiring is not long enough to reach the new wall heater. How can I solve this problem. Thank you.

yeah nice, and what if the ceiling is 20 feet high instead of 10?

In general, if you have high ceilings we'd suggest you increase the wattage and use ceiling fans to help push the warm air back down towards the floor. How much to increase the wattage would depend on your specific room size, insulation and a few other things. If you'd like, our tech support team could help you figure that out through a live chat: cadetheat.com/support/customer-service

PLEASE make sure people know to shut off the heater and vacuum out the fan and fan bay every 6m. or so. Wall heaters are rumored to start fires and be unsafe. It happens if u let all that dust/lint from your household (sweeping and vacuuming throw particles in the air) collect inside. Lint is extremely combustible, thus dryer fires if you dont keep the lint trap and dryer conduit cleaned out as well. Be safe people do your maint. It only takes 5 minutes tops and that includes removing and replacing the grill plate. My renters never cleaned them out, now I remind every 6m. and inspect yearly.

Thanks for your comment. You're right, most of our heaters should be cleaned once every 6 months. (The Apex72 only needs to be cleaned once every 2 years.) If you keep up proper maintenance, including cleaning, these heaters are safe to use. If you're looking for step-by-step instructions on how to clean your heater, check out our video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Whv0lZfjl8c.html

I've had mine installed for 20yrs and never a problem. I did watch ur video on cleaning. Perhaps mention to make sure grill is dry before you reinstall. I know its common sense however.............
