Last hole I dug was for my dog Baxter. Damn dog was nuttier than squirrel shit but he was my best friend. He would have loved you garden nerd.

Dang, that gets me emotional. My only regret with my RU-vid channel is that I didn't start it earlier so that Baxter and I could have known each other.

I've had a Phx mango for 3 years now. It is by far my most prolific bloomer. The only bad thing is none of the flowers ever take and fruit. They dry out really quick and die. The tree looks great and maybe when it gets a little bigger it will survive.

That's interesting. I'll be curious now to see what mine does.

Interesting… I always tend to add more amendments thinking im creating a nutrient dense soil…. But now I wonder if i should use more native soil in the future. Cool stuff 👍👍

Great video packed full of useful information! We love mangoes and we definitely want to get one or two. We have a long south-facing wall that I think would be perfect for mangoes!

I am considering planting mangoes near my inground pool. My question is, do they have Invasive roots, that will eventually damage my pool ? Any suggestions on varieties that can be planted ?.

Loved your video. I have one from seed and it is ready to plant. I haven't planted it because I did not know how. Since it is from seed will it still produce?

Hi there, where do you buy grow well compost mulch beg that you used in your video? Is it in Phoenix or Mesa? I am in Laveen. I tried to look for it couple of stores around here but I couldn’t find it. Mango is also not favorite fruit of mine. I’m excited to plant my mango trees. Thank you.

Three year old mango that doesn't seem to be growing anywhere. No fruit, some growth, scraggly. Open area with full sun until late afternoon. Drains good. Wood chips all around. ?? if it wasn't planted correctly to begin with, how do you fix the ground soil? Drill and blast?

I've been reading about trees that are in pots for a while being root bound. Have you had trouble with this with this mango tree? I have a mango that's been in a pot for a few months and I am trying to decide whether to release the roots or leave them untouched.
@TheGardenNerd
@TheGardenNerd 4 месяца назад
No problems! Just make sure the pot is big enough and you'll be fine. If you feel the roots are getting tight, just move to a larger pot and you should be good.

“It’s actually not the heat nor the sun that kills them” as if it could, being a tropical tree. Come on man.
