Hi Paul, thank you for this great tutorial ! As always I enjoy your content! Especially the backing tracks are amazing. I think I found a little mistake in the intermediate version in measure 25. There are five beats instead of four. Maybe the quarter note should be an eighth note? Many Greetings from Germany, Arndt 🎷 😎
Thanks Arndt! I checked over measure 25 and I think there are the correct number of beats, the last two notes are 16th notes, so in the bar there are 4 x 8th notes, an 8th note rest, a 1/4 note and 2 x 16th notes. That should all add up to 4 beats. Let me know if that makes sense. All the best! Paul
Excellent video! Just a question: Measure 10, Alto - is it Ab or A (in the original version of the song)? It sounds nice both ways, although I prefer the "spicy" Ab.
@@OnlineSaxAcademyThanks for the video! could you explain please why you play on the Bb7 part (as explained in minute 3:12) - "Ab"? aren't the notes of Bb7 supposed to be : Bb, C, D, Eb, F, G, A ? I'm having difficulties to understand that concept. When the chord is mentioned, doesn't it mean I have to play only the notes of the chord? Thanks in advance, I appreciate that!
