I get asked all the time, how do I play music videos while driving? I go over the 12v relay which bypasses the warning screen.

This is a Metra kit for a double din, google that to find your exact model and fit. JDM kits cost more and are a lot nicer; eventually, I'll get a JDM kit.

I have a 03 g35 coupe 6 speed manual brembo sport package with nose stereo. Problem: AC and stereo controls do not respond, steering wheel controls work. AC stuck on 75 degrees. Is there anyone in Arizona or California that repairs this? Dealer told me that it could be the radio finisher or radio head unit and that I should replace both because either of them could be the culprit. Is there an easy fix? I’ve also heard of the JDM double DIN, I don’t want to spend a lot of money, I want to keep factory look and finish, and most importantly I want to be able to control AC again and not repeat this problem.

Replace your stock radio for double din comes with new controls , I had same issue

Michael C ...thank you! What year is your G? Believe it or not my pedals came that way, they are OEM on an 05 6MT Sports package.

Is their a certain video format in order to play videos on the indash? Asking because I downloaded RU-vid videos and basically just added them into the USB. But it still won't play. I'm not sure if I need to dhange the format or something.

Saw this on a G35 forum --> marine safe replacement. He bought as close to black as Infiniti stock as possible, and removed/replaced the dash. Literally looks original.

Why wouldn't you just tie the ground to the parking brake and do away with the relay altogether

LOL....This setup is old, like 10 plus years and it still works. What you are talking about used to work even further back in time. The headunits won't allow you to ground to the parking brake, it doesn't work.

Thanks....yeah turbo motors will not last as long as an NA and require more money to maintain. My dyno tuned rev-up G35 is faster than a stock G37. Check the video from Motortrend G37 vs BMW 335i.......ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B0B50ULfBYM.html

Why would you want to watch music videos while driving ? Especially in a screen that low.

It is like being in a concert, you get to see the music. It is more for the passengers than for the driver, but when I do come to stops, I do glance at it. Hey, it is better than music without video :)

Too much going on in this video. Instead of trying to look cool etc, why not just make a how-to video without all of the ridiculous music, graphics and driving around? Too schizophrenic to even pay attention to. Ugh!
