To anyone curious, this emulator was extracted from a game called "Cotton Saturn Tribute", which apparently uses SSF The input delay of the official games was insanely gross, but apparently they are working on it. I would like to hear everyone's opinion on other games, such things like Radiant Silvergun would be nice to work good with it
I just played X-Men CotA and it feels fine to me, but then again I'm not a pro at the game. But combos with Omega Red felt fine. Also no compatibility issue with that game!
As a racing fan, i have tried Sega Rally, Sega Touring Car Championship, and also F1 Challenge. And the input lag basically ruins it for me since these games require such precise inputs to be on the speedrun pace i normally am at.
@@ritter_cracker Thanks for letting me know, Cotton games by themselves (And Guardian Force) are things I wanted to play, but the input delay on those was 10+ frames, which is just way too much, is barely playable for shmup/STG games. I hope the patch that apparently shouldn't take long to come out can at least halve it, and hopes it works with custom PKGs (they probably do) But hey, we have progress, the fact we at least have it is something
Yet another nice one Mr! I have a number of hacked consoles, but the Tiramisu hack for the Wiiu is probably the most giving yet. Pretty sure that a guide from you is needed:-).
Mister Mario Please help !! SATURN-FPKG_v1.1 dont work !!! :( mesage error Access to the route is not allowed C\users\GEORGE\AppData\Local\Temp\Saturn-FPKG\SaturnEmu how to fix this ? before i make fpkg 1 game and work fine !! I try 2 game e.t.c Resident evil but fail :(
i try to move SATURN-FPKG_v1.1 and game to ssd D from C and problem is the same :( sorry :( (Run the program as as Administrator) Thanks for Advince :)
Overall I've been happy with 9.00, more features in the OFW itself and no worries about backporting anything. Some cases require a higher firmware, such as the Saturn emulator here.
Is there a permanent jailbreak for PS4 yet? Every time I start my system, I've got to run a hack first. (This has probably been asked many times before, but I'm adding my question onto the pile.)
I'm curious how multi disc based games are played, such as Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG & the Shining Force 3 trilogy, with its unique save progression system that lets you keep your character progression between games (Scenario 1>Sc2>Sc3>Premium)
I'll get 8 PS4s to represent each of Saturn's rings so they can all play Sega Saturn games emulated. Might need 9 depending on which metric you're choosing.
If they play, they'll still play fine, but you can't carry over saves automatically between discs since each "disc" will be a separate PKG, therefore being a separate app.
@@MrMario2011 then guess you cant really something like Sakura Taisen since you need to insert a disk to keep progressing the story. Well guess it happens.
Not at the moment, this is possible because an official game (Cotton Saturn Tribute) uses an emulator. If someone tries to make Flycast port to PS4, it might be possible You could also try the Linux version of Flycast on PS4
