Hi, i really enjoy your music and your performance, is so good. what do you think about latin rock? Especially about Gustavo Cerati and his band soda stereo? I am sure that you have a lot of fans in latin america, and it would be nice if you cover any song of they. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6S14DxUKNUQ.html. "Disco eterno"- unplugged
I used to be a swimming teacher .. Which changed my life .. 30 kids 9 to 11 years old .. But The Joy I got back from taking a child who was afraid of the water & helping them to learn to fly in the water was Cool & actually Soul rewarding .. I over came my shyness & learned how to project my voice .. So I studied it .. & discovered .. average attention span 30 seconds .. But you are a Natural .. & have a lovely speaking voice .. I could tell you lots of things But you will learn as you go .. But I taught Deaf kids blind kids disabled mothers with babies Gran & Grandads & a one legged one armed woman who had been a swimmer & just needed some help I taught synchro swimming & Life saving ( 150 Bigger than me Trainee Firemen ) that was difficult at 1st .. until 3 got into trouble & I had to recue them & after that I had respect from them . But you already have So much of the main requirements .. A) you really know what you are talking about B) You are fun & engaging .. ( Trust me I have looked at hundreds of lesson sites & most of them make you want to Click next .. within seconds ) . Some hints ? suggestions ? here you Go .. Try not to apologise .. & if you call yourself silly ? well ?? .. One time I was taking a Karate class & the 6 foot 10 Black belt told us . There are 159 moves in this Kata .. Now he Knew them all .. But if he was trying to show you move 73 .. he could only get there by turning his back on the class & working his way thru the 1st 72 moves .. Brilliant Karate guy who could smash planks of wood with his head but Woe fully under pre pared as a Teacher .. There is ? was a fellow Canadian guy who had a site called " shut up & play .. He just showed his hands .. But his playing & his knowledge superb plus he had a nice speaking voice too .. Last tip stay away from Politics & religion Lol You are intelligent & eloquent .. But remember whatever you say can & probably will be pounced upon by Idiots .. I heard Jennifer Batten teaches a course in Empowerment & teaching .. Ted talk ? or her site ? but if she had ten dollars for everytime she explained how she got the Michael Jackson Gig .. lol .. The main thing is like playing the Blues & I quote " 1st you tell 'em what your'e gonna tell 'em then ya Tell ' em & then after you show off a little bit ya tell 'em again " .. & If you have the attention span to read this you are like most musos rare .. try asking a drummer the lyrics ? or an audience member all the words .. its Play the Hook get to the chorus & get back to the Hook .. Kylie Minogue " Can't get you out of my head Na na na etc etc love you loads feel free to pin this at the bottom or delete it I don't mind .. Pass it on . I made a promise to someone who taught me for free Pass it on . stay safe Bye .. Autumn leaves here inf Ye olde Forest in Englande bye
Love your style of conveying the history of your past and how easily and instinctively you conduct the lesson. You are so relaxed and make I'm sure many of us feel likewise. It's really a fun learning experience and your blending of little bits and pieces of music theory is really a plus. Have been following your tutorials and your cover songs for awhile now and have alot of my friends dialed in too. Keep up the great work and helping us enjoy playing the best instrument the guitar. All the best and looking forward to your next tutorial! Tony
It is a generally accepted fact that you were the best thing that ever happened to Calpurnia. A nice start with an Indie band- but you are cut out for so much more.
It's not funny I didn't laugh. Your joke is so bad that I would have preferred to simply ignore it. To be honest, this is a horrible attempt to try to make me laugh. Not a giggle, not a "lol", not even a subtle leak of air from my esophagus. Science says that before laughing the brain prepares the muscles of the face but I have not felt the slightest contraction. The amount of brain power you must have put into making this joke has the potential to power every house on Earth. Learn to have a personality and make jokes, read a book. I am not telling you this to make you laugh, I am serious about how this is only the tip of your embarrassing humor. You were able to kill humor and every possible and imaginable comic sketch on our planet by yourself. I am really disappointed that society as a whole has failed to teach you how to be fun. Honestly, if I had all my power and time to try and make your joke fun, I would need Einstein himself to build me a device that can connect me to the energy of a billion stars in order to succeed, and also then there would be no more than a little joke. You are lucky that I feel a little sense of empathy for you after explaining that your joke didn't make you laugh, otherwise I would have committed any war crime just to keep you from trying to humor again. We should put your joke in the history books so that future generations will avoid becoming such an absolute comic failure. I am disappointed, hurt and completely offended by the fact that I have wasted my precious time to understand that joke. As I read it, I was thinking of helping less lucky children, and you stole my time with your terrible attempt to be funny. Now those children are suffering and the fault is yours. I hope you are happy with what you have done and I really hope you can go ahead and learn from this pathetic attempt to make people laugh.
Im litteraly crying right now, I love her so much, her voice is so angelic. I was litteraly just scrolling through RU-vid and I feel in love someone help me
this song really hits in a way no other song or music can. every time i listen to it it’s the same amount of emotions no matter how many times i listen to it and it’s sad that i can’t find anything even similar to the way this song feels. this is weird to describe but i hope someone else understands what i’m trying to say. this song is special to me
I'm so happy that you still care about Calpurnia. You're also my favorite member so that's even better. I also would love if you could do a tutorial on how to play Wasting Time :) love you Ayla
i just started learning how to play guitar (transitioning from bass) and I just found your channel- GIRL I SAW YOU LIVE!!! (with Calpurnia in like 2018) you're literally such a good teacher! i love youuuuuu
Calpurnia's music really helped me a lot, i met amazing people through it and discovered myself a lot. I'm so glad to see the four of you making different things that make you happy! i love you so much♡

You brighten up my day every time a new video comes up. Not getting to play my drums and sing with my musician friends is really hard. Thanks for sharing your talent with us all.
OK so about a year ago i found Calpurnia through Finn Wolfhard (coz he's amazing) and since then i was ALWAYS listening to this band and THIS SONG is soooo beautiful, and SO ARE YOU i literally love u so much ur so funny and even though the band has broken up you're still bringing Calpurnia back a little and this video was just GREAT! 💖
Ayla:"-.... If you happen to be interested" Me: "*smiles like an idiot and nods* Seriously I literally just smile through out the video the way she explains is very careful and her little facts and how she edits the video makes it entertaining (cause sometimes when I watch tutorials I just got bored halfway) I swear i'll play this song on my guitar if quarantine is over cause.... apparently my 1st and 2nd strings are broken (no one needs to know that) and there is basically nothing I can do because... I am stuck in my home and being an idiot I am didn't buy an extra when quarantine wasn't happening (again no one needs to know) anyways... Great content Ayla👌

i've never thought that you would make a tutorial video. and especially talk about your excited when you were a part of Calpurnia. Every time i get bored in learning guitar, I always review your solo in greyhound . It keeps me going .best wishes from Vietnam 😊😊😊
ayla you are so talented ♡ thank you for explaining what happened. its an end of an era, but i really hope i can see ludic when all this thing with corona ends. ily ♡
Excellent video. Hope you get to sing as much as you want in your new band, your voice has such an ethereal quality to it, it works perfectly with dreamy chords like major 7ths. You've obviously got perfect pitch, I've always wondered how much of that is learned, and how much is innate. I was singing along to Tom Jones and Beatles records when I was 3-4 years old. My parents were in bands in the 1960-65 range, and I'd credit the Beatles and Van Halen for being my music teachers. I use the song "Day Tripper" that I can hear in my head, to tune a guitar to E, "Dance the Night Away" to Eb, so a lot of it has to be chalked up to practice and repetition. Glad to hear that you don't always remember the solos you play on recordings, either. It seems to have more of a spiritual purity to it if it flows out of you from what's inspired you about the choruses and verses that led up to the solo part, even if it has a flubbed note or something, it's still unique, and alive, and not done 100% by computers.
I usually never write any comments, but your way of explaining is just absolutely amazing and sth. that you should definitely do more often! I just really like your patience and explaining of "basic chords", so that even beginners can understand the playing of this song. Thanks so much :)) Keep up the great work!
Big shout outs to the 'A string.' Despite being wrongfully shunned and excluded, it persevered throughout the entire video and proudly maintained its stringy independence. #freedom4Astring
I really like the speed with which are you approaching this how to. your so chill and relaxed which immediately influences me as a viewer to spend more time on the video because I acknowledge its not a superficial video. thank you for making this tutorial :)
