I'm not showing the setting gear icon to show subdomains. Is there an updated way to do this? I have the force HTTPS redirects turned on, but I can only do that with the main domain.

How do I direct a custom domain to an existing wordpress multisite install and replace the subdomain with the new custom domain. I do not want to create a new wordpress install for the new custom domain. I have added a new site to my wordpress multisite and want to replace the subdomain with a custom domain. Namehero does things different now than in the past. Any advice?

Hey Ryan! That's a great question. I honestly don't have much experience with multisite installs, so I'm not sure I have the best answer, but I believe you would configure the domain mapping so that the new domain replaces the subdomain. Again, I don't have any experience with that so I'm sorry I can't be more help. Have you tried reaching out to NameHero's tech support? They could probably point you in the right direction or even do it for you. Let me know!

How can I achieve the same if my registrar is CloudFlare (doesn’t allow custom DNS nameservers)?
@blogwithben

Hi! Thanks for watching! I believe you can. This article lists the steps to use custom nameservers. developers.cloudflare.com/dns/additional-options/custom-nameservers/ However, they also state this in the article "Account custom nameservers are available for customers on Business (after contacting Cloudflare Support) or Enterprise plans. Once configured, account custom nameservers can be used by all zones in the account, regardless of the zone plan. Via API only." I'd reach out to their support to clarify. Good luck!
