How to post a message in multiple Discords using the Elgato Stream Deck!

I was motivated to make this for Chris aka sarcasmninja! You can check out his live streams here on Twitch! / sarcasmninja
Chris hinted in a video "Wish there was a way to post the same message to multiple discords with a push of a button." That is now a reality! Thanks for motivating me to trial and error. I was successful!
As you set up your messages, you can make a different message in each "Text" action line. However, I kept it simple with the same message. you can also change the delay time to be shorter or longer. 3 to 5 secs is ideal though.

Just want to say thank you for the tutorial. Was confused on why my multiple discord post wasn't working originally. I realized from your video it was due to not making my text a run on sentence with the twitch link. Now everything is working perfectly :D

Thank you for this. Now if there was only a way to change the text message in the multi-action easily instead of editing one, then going through copy/paste replacing the old message. (ie, wanting to post a "going live" message that changes for events, games, etc)

I make a template, so when I go live I do it for each game. So I have a series of folders that have my same function, but for different games.

When I send a message to discord from my Twitch app on my phone, it sends the profile picture of my Twitch channel plus the same message I am sending when using the stream; “We’re live Madden 23 etc etc plus the embedded info that directs them to my channel. When I send the command from the Stream Deck, what’s embedded reads, “Twitch is an interactive live-streaming service for content spanning gaming, entertainment, sports, music, and more. There’s something for everyone on Twitch” It also has a Twitch logo. I’m hoping to be able to give it the same personalization as if I sent it from my phone.

this is only for a stream deck. if you're wanting to run macros on a keyboard, you could. I do content for products I use, vs manual with a keyboard.

There is so much you can do, and also if you have an iOS device you can also use Stream Deck Mobile for this too!

You should for your own. @everyone should be in the script. However you may want to test a channel before posting. I’ll test it with my 2023 version.

there has been a revision, but it's at your own risk thing, because of Discord's TOA. They may consider this bot like behavior, and there is a process on the dev. end to do this. I can make a revision video, keep an eye out for version 2.0
