Great suggestion! Maybe I'll include it in a video, but just to answer your question briefly: "wel" you would sort of use the same way like you would in English "well...", meaning, a word that you could use when - you're thinking (Wel ... Ik weet het niet.) - you're starting an explanation (Wel, het is niet moeilijk) - when you're fascinated or intrigued (Wel, wel, wel...) - when you want to insist having your question answered (Wel... Weet je het antwoord?) You could also use it as an opposite to "niet" or "geen": "Ik heb geen honden, maar ik heb wel een kat" (I don't have dogs but I do have a cat). "Hij komt niet uit België maar hij spreekt wel Frans." And finally, as a neutral reaction to "Hoe gaat het?" (How are you?) "Het gaat wel" (I'm alright / I'm fine...) You can also use it in dialects and informal spoken Dutch but I'm not going to go into that because that's a whole other box of Pandora I'd prefer to keep closed.
