How long you need to soak your grain and all the details of how i do my my jars. once again this video is long and informative and i just didnt know what to edit out so i included it all.
Btw man, I love that you are eco-friendly. One thing about these big mycologists doing it for the money is that they don't give a shit about plastic waste, and there is soooo much of it with mycology. I stopped doing mycology for a while because of all that waste, I couldn't handle it. Appreciate you brother, and i enjoy watching your videos.
Wait til you find out about the clothing industry, to your point though I use glass dishes for this reason + its the cheapest price-per-use in the long run, it's packed in paper & cloth, also using metal lids glass jars etc. Bins are probably the biggest source of plastic for me but they last quite a while.
Hey brother two hours is fine, but from what you said about your lc and that you have better success at 2 hours sounds like your grain moister content might be a little high. You would be surprised at how well mycelium can colonize grain that seems a little dry. Anyways just a thought, if you are seeing failure in jar with the stuff you mentioned it might be the moister content of the grain. You can lay out your grains flat with this method and just let them dry a bit that might help. Either way, you found a method... That's all that matters.
