Thank you! I use the base gel coat method , but I’m gonna try the others. I’ve been trying to get my press-ons to look as smooth as possible

I buff, do dehydrator, base coat, 2 or 3 desired color coat, top coat. I’m going to try primer instead of dehydrator this time. Thanks for the tips. I tried all these methods except I didn’t use primer.

Thank you! I honestly been so scare to try out the buff and no base coat option because I feel like the polish will chip right away. I feel like the method, buff, prime, & base coat works best for me. 😊

What’s a UV lamp you recommend? Mine’s a 54w with 18 lights and it’s not curing all the way. I’ve been doing thin coats too

I have a pink buffer like that and I bought my nails and for some reason it makes my nails look edgy on top of that makes sense lol like bumpy.

Great Video!!! Love the gel polish colors! Do you have any recommendations for applying anything on your natural nails before applying primer and glue? I have heard applying a base coat which I have a regular kind but not a gel base coat and was wondering your opinion!! 💖

You can use alcohol but I use a no wipe top coat

@pressed Aholic After doing all of this to your nails…can I still use the UV light to put them on? Are due in need to be clear and then paint?

If you are using gel to adhere them you have to make sure the nails are see through so the light can penetrate. If you paint them with a dark color you might not be able to cure them with the UV light

What tips do you recommend for someone with flat nail beds? Mine are SO flat and none of the tips that I have for my business, reach my nail bed. 😔 Can you use the primer without buffing? I don't buff, at all, and I've never had a problem with chipping. I've even had one customer wear and reuse a set multiple times for two months without chipping, but I want to ensure a smoother application and no chipping without having to buff. Buffing and base coat are so irritating and take so long. 🙄
