I’m a Bama girl and we used to eat this faithfully at my granny’s house. She passed this year and I wanted to make it for my son. This recipe helped me do it. Thank you.
I’m in tears because this is exactly how my Grandmother made it and I could never remember the missing ingredient… eggs! Unfortunately she’s no longer here to walk me through it but you did! Thank you!!!
Been eating this since my childhood, and I would have never thought of boiled eggs being added to chicken and noodles. Looks like a game changer. Definitely trying this soon.
When cooking the chicken, you need a pot filled with water. After that, have cooked down to almost out, then add water halfway and add the noodles cook until your desired texture of the noodles.
Wow. Second time seeing butter & cream of chicken added to soup. Even though I add eggs to my gumbo, never thought of adding eggs to soup! Man I just made a pot last nite but next time I’m doing this recipe✊🏾
Happy Sunday MS. Georgia I am cooking this meal for the second time I love your recipe and I love it with the twist so I will be adding the egg again today when I cook mines me and my family I love your recipe. thank you for sharing your recipe with us❤
Honey, you know you have to let your chicken cook almost done that probably will take about an hour. After a hour check the chicken for tenderness if still tough you will not be able to stick a fork in it if that happens cook for another fifteen or twenty minutes then add the egg noodles same thing cook until tender then add the Cut-Up boil eggs the last five minutes. It's so easy to cook.
Sorry I missed your comment earlier. Always use the whole can of cream of chicken and Cook until broth in the pot thickens to your liking and taste. Thank You so much!
If you are deciding on whether this is a good recipe here this is your sign to make it. This was soooooo good! I tweaked it somewhat by seasoning my chicken with the ingredients before adding to water and adding chicken bullion paste (better than bullion chicken), carrots, onion and celery. I did just add salt (alittle) since the canned soup was salty . Also I used adobo, onion powder, garlic paste, garlic and herb seasoning and love
sould food. Looks delicious. I have never eat this but I am a coonass from southern louisisana originally and we eat strange according to a lot of outsiders but it is the best food on earth..this reminds me of that....mmm. looks good I am subcribling, thank you!!
Them noodles a little overcooked but it looks good tho. And I never seen anybody add eggs to it idk about that but maybe this some deep down south style or something.
I don't know what you want to know everything I used were introduced in the introduction. chicken, egg noodles, cream of chicken soup, salt and pepper, butter, boiled eggs optional.
Don’t knock it till you try it 🤷🏽♀️ I personally haven’t tried it but I am definitely doing it tonight . lol I’ll report back if I take back my original statement on knockin it Lmaoo
Season to your taste Eric, because you are not eating any of this so therefore don't worry about the salt until you can taste it and know exactly what you talking about.
