We don't waste anything here in Southern Africa everything is useful. I didn't know the sweet potato leaves are edible but know us i tell it does. Wow and they look really yummy. With lots of veggies tomato and onions are used mostly in here.
The Chinese people also eat sweet potato leaves. I am also Zambian like this lady and live in London. It is very hard to buy the fresh leaves. So one day I was watching a Chinese cooking channel that was cooking sweet potato leaves. So I said to myself let me go and try buying from a Chinese supermarket and sure enough I found them there. They too were surprised that we eat them in Zambia. The Chinese are a famously hardworking people so you can rely on them to bring the vegetables to market.
