Why do tattoo artists have such bad nutrition knowledge? Always saying to eat sugary things, when it's just gonna cause you to crash within a few hours. A better meal would be a large meaty meal with plenty of cooked vegetables. Protein, fat, and fiber for sustained energy.
I had a 6-hour blackout session this week. I had porridge with nuts and seeds for breakfast with a full-sugar coke and during the session had a big bottle of Lucozade and a bunch of bananas. It was the best I've ever felt during a tattoo. (The underarm still fucking sucked though).
Going for a 7 hour session next week, cheers for the tips. A breathing tip I've used before is count your in breath to 4, hold for 4, breath out for 4, hold for 4, repeat, do that to 10 and then start counting again. Time flies by before you know it.
Tell me when u done, i would love to hear ur expierence. I gonna get tattooed at the 13th of april. Its gonna be a calf tattoo. From 10:00 > 17:00 im so nervous already 💀😂

No, caffeine thins your blood so you want to avoid coffee and energy drinks. Always best going for a sugary drink so you blood level doesn’t drop and risk passing out because of the shock
