i was having such a bad pain and found this video. I can't tell you how much thankful i am with this information. the pain isn't as bad as before now, i can still feel a twinge of pain but it's manageable.
Every condition is different. Main thing is to keep at them if you're seeing improvement, even if it's slow (it will add up). Thanks for watching.@@rafaelmendez49
Question I’m not able to move my ankle on the leg due to stroke and I only use one arm my right arm and I have a prosthetic right leg. Based on that is anyway you can help me relief pain off my left leg
After 9 months, how is it now? And did you continue the exercises? Anything you did differently that helped as well? People would love to hear a long term result of doing these!!! I know I would
Last two stretches were life changing. I didnt know how much tension and pain i was tolerating until i felt the relief…. Thank you Dr you are a true Hero
That last stretch is actually life changing. I was in agony for a week until I stumbled across this! I can't describe how grateful I am for this video. Thank you so much man, you are a true hero
You have no idea how much this helped. I've been having chronic sciatica since I was 16 from a weightlifting injury. I've tried acupuncture, getting messages, going to the doctor, and nothing. I appreciate it. I'm going to implement this into my daily workout routine since I spend 10-15 hours every day sitting down.
My MRI results confirmed multiple herniated discs a few days ago and I've been in so much pain and just miserable thinking that surgery is inevitable. Your videos have helped me find relief for my body and mind 😌 thanks for putting this on YT!
Dear Dr. Rowe I just wanted to thank you from my soul !!!! Your movement where you lean into the wall away from the side with the pain, then press your hip towards the wall is life saving for me. It is the only thing that relieves the agony & pain that I am experiencing !!!!!! It only lasts till I sit again ? But 5 seconds of relief is heaven.
If anyone wondering if any of these exercises helps, it definitely does! I was struggling with the pain for more than 3 weeks and then I tried the last exercise given and it was a real relief... Thank you very much for this video:)
Thank you for all the helpful information and videos you generously share, Dr. Rowe. Several times a year, whenever I have some pain or injury, I do a Google search and your channel almost always appears in the search results. I appreciate your teachings and your nice personality. I wish I lived close enough to be an in-person patients. But, this channel is the next best thing.
Wow!!! I was desperate for some relief here at the salon while sitting here getting my hair done. Don’t care if I look funny… and it works!! Holy cow! Thank you so much for sharing this! 🙏🏻😭❤️
@@DrRowe thanks alot it's now a routen I do the excersise when and before going to sleep and also my boss had back pain she streched that as you lean on the wall she got relief and now tells every one how the streched works thanks
It's crazy how well these worked! Straight to the point and instant relief. I'm going to try to incorporate them into my after work routine. Thank you so much sir!!
I was also surprised. I sit a lot for work, so have no choice, and currently have a inflamed sciatica and it's hard to stand without popping 2 advils, and these exercises actually made it feel okay for a bit
These stretches have all been very helpful. Thank you. One extra suggestion on top of these is simply to use a cane, stick or pole when walking or to get in and out of postures without reagravating the pain.
These stretches are the only thing that relieves my pain. I’ve been trying to make an appointment with a doc and I won’t be able to see one until months. Thank you for helping me in the meantime!
I am 57 year old , & a tailor so usually sit on chair for sewing many h everyday since I get sciatica ,,(3 year ) it is really difficult for me ,,thanks a lot to share 🙏🏻👍👍👍🥰🥰
Thank you for doing this video. I have been in pain for a couple of days. I feel some relief and finding out that I can do something about it is a blessing!🥰
Thanks a lot dr it's works really i feel better now i couldn't move because of pain i can't do the 3rd exercise because of pain almighty may bless u thank u💐
I love the way you explain everything in details and share multiple exercises, could you also if possible share the time frame for these exercises, like in how many days a person will feel better if they do these exercises regularly, I am sure this depends patients to patients. Still if there is any time frame, thanks
I have battled this sciaitica for a number of years and at 0ne time thought had it controlled however I have discovered three things that trigger it: the weather, stress and the total non understanding of sciatiac. Sooooo, I have decided to take this thing on head to head and your information is not over my head and mankes sense as do your exercises. The fight begins!!!!!!!!!
The last exercise no 3 is very good for me, gives a great stretch into my lower back, and it's quick and easy to do whether at home or out and about. Thank you again.
I am 59 yr old woman. & im just under 5' tall so i cant touch the ground with my feet from the sofa or my rocking chair. So ive been sitting with my feet stretched 0ut in front of me onto a slightly lower footstool from rocking chair, and onto a large square table while watching RU-vid day and night during Starting at the end of 2019 and continuing through Covid here in Toronto, Canada. Since January '21 I have been diagnosed with osteo knee arthritus in both knees, and right now I have a sciatica on my right side I just went to the chiro yesterday...Your stretching and exercises and your detailed slow and thorough explanations and demos are A1 ! Thanksl Any advice appreciated ...thx Dr. Mike !
Thank you. I've seen your other videos and they are great, but this one is specially good. I had a broken ankle, and I'm non-weight bearing. So these are perfect for me right now (had a bad sciatic flare). Thank you.
I will return to look at these exercises again! Very helpful! Not liking I have sciatica! Trying to do stretching in mornings. Glad I;m not only one with this problem! Thanks for video!
Thank you for the help. Not just this one the other vids as well. Slowly slowly improving. This is now the go to at the first twinge while sitting. Considering taping myself to a broom stick so I cant forget posture.
Thank you! I just started a WFH job this week, and while I’ve had back issues for the past 12 years, my sciatic nerve (mainly the peraforma-I know I butchered the spelling) has been really painful. I found your link after searching for office chairs that help sciatic pain, and I must say, I feel relief already. Thank you! I’m thinking I might get a foot rest, because I’ve noticed that my ankles are swollen, and this is the first I’ve ever seen that. Oh, it sucks to get old!!
Came to this later. I have seen beaucoup of your videos about Sciatica and Piriformis w/ in the last 10 days. All are great but this one knocked out of the ball park. 😁🦵 What a relief, what a joy. Thank you from the heart
@@DrRowe No, I guess I did not. Been doing these series of stretches since I posted a month ago. Thank you again. Could you please post the site address for the updated video? Thank you very much.
Thank you so so much, these exercises really help immediately, my pain is less without medication, as a matter of fact the stretching hells more then pain pills, again thank you thank you.
GOOD STUFF THAT FIRST EXERCISE REALLY HIT THE SPOT AND THAT LAST ONE ... I SIT AT A DESK FOR 8-12HRS A DAY. I AM GOING TO INCORPORATE THIS INTO THE SCHEDULE BECAUSE I THINK I HAVE SCIATICA ON MY RIGHT SIDE.
Thank you for for the first time in 5 months I feel a little bit of relief. Just no that I am willing to do anything you tell me to do to get rid of this pain it's getting to where I can barely walk
@@ANGELSLVME my roommate has issues with toilet to, try and remain as straight as you can and be quick and come off the toilet straight. I'm no doctor but this is how he handles it
Thank you Dr.Rowe for sharing above video. I have L3, L4 , L5 & S1 compressing the nerve. When I walk a few steps, I feel tingging of ants crawing and feeling hot sensation down my foot and feel floatng when walk. Are there more video to help this sciatica pain.
I want to say thank you, i have been experiencing really bad pain in my hips and subsequently all the way down to my knees and feet whenever I stand up or go for long walks. I attribute this to stopping being active from working from home since April 2020. I did your exercises combined with other lower back exercises last night and my pain has subsided 80%!! I specifically found No 3 the most relief given one. :)
Thanks a lot for all your videos. They help us a lot , depending of the health problems we have. I'd like you to explain and show some exercises for degenerative spondilolisthesis and also for Tarlov cysts. There are very few exercises for cysts Tarlov that can compress the nerv and have back and leg pain. Best wishes!
I'm suffering this pain more than 7-8months now only I came to know this pain and excercise .... Got medicines, consulted doctors ...no cure but now this helps me ...little Is it too bad 8mobths of pain What should I do sir ???? And thank u
Thank you. I am going to try doing these and see if it relieves my sciatica pain. Do you have any suggestions for right leg pain while driving? Excruciating and debilitating. I’ve tried moving up my car seat and moving it back but nothing seems to work.
Great videos you post ! The last one where you cross your leg and lean forward, won’t leaning forward potentially aggravate a pinched or compressed nerve even more by leaning forward? Thank you 😊
