I love your videos, partly because they're set in the UK which is really helpful, but also you offer really useful and practical advice that's easy to understand. Keep them coming.
A great video for budding indie authors, and I am certain it will prove beneficial to many. I've only ever offered discounts during the festive season or on anniversaries of a book's release. However, I have been one of those writers who hasn't thought himself worthy enough because of not being published traditionally. The first Doris book was priced because I looked at traditionally published books in a similar genre and length and averaged it out. I'm in a quandary currently with regards to pricing the final Doris book - currently the royalty calculator is telling me that I'd have to sell it quite expensively in order to make any money at all. These are the perils of writing such hefty tomes I suppose.
Great video, great timing. I have a 'coffee table' poem book, Hard cover. And I originally didn't want to do paper back or e, but I do think the price is on the higher end for the printing of the hard cover. Do you have any experience with coffee book sales done in e-book form? Would it ruin the experience or do people read e-books just fine at coffee tables, (that's the new experience)? Maybe that's too random of a question, just a shot in the dark.
