I'm a junk hauler who serves the northern half of Alameda County western half of Contra Costa County, as well as San Francisco and Marin counties. I'm haulin' n ballin' myself. About 3 months ago, I found a Montague Military Technology Bicycle. Those bikes are worth $1200 each. I repaired it and have been riding it for last 2.5 months.
I go off a set flat rate per 5x6x4.5 pickup truck box.(135cu.ft. Everyone can visualize a pickup truck box. My truck is 30yard bin truck. Easy to quote if you already have a few pickups already in the truck
This is great Information. I’m currently in the military and want to start a side job with my truck around my area and this is the information I needed thanks!!
I bought a dump trailer to start weekend hustle with my sons. I betting on getting business from word by mouth and friends. Do you have any advice or tips that could help me out. Appreciate it you do or not all good. I like the information from your videos. 🤙🏾
Sorry for my ignorance but just starting out in junk removal. I have a truck with a 8' box my calculations tell me it's just over 3 cubic yards. The dump cost here is between $20.00 to $30.00 a cubic yard for basic household junk. Is $45.00 a cubic yard to much or not. That would be $135.00 for a truck load? Thanks for the videos 🙂 . Northern Minnesota
The best thing to do is watch our video on how to price junk removal ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FcLr6DjiGTM.html. Also call around in your area and see what others are charging because it’s different in other areas around here it’s about 50 to 60 a cubic yard
I love this channel and your business. Serious question: Why do people pay you to dump stuff like furniture etc? Couldn't they put it on their curb and the municipal trash people take it away?
Solid video. Do you ever have to use wheelbarrows or mega brutes? Or will you just not take the job if you can’t pull up as close as possible? Do you ever deal with stairs and elevators? What’s the best equipment for those situations?
we use whellbarrows when needed, its nice to pull right up, but jobs are not always like that. uline carts work really good also, or a good old fashion trash can and a dolly
You guys are doing great man keep it up don’t worry about the heaters . My brother and I have been making a bunch of money here in Miami taking down trees and getting garbage hauled away . Hope you guys start studying with a Jehovah’s Witness soon so that you guys can also receive what jehovah has promised, eternal life here on earth . That’s something that no money in the world can buy but it’s free just takes time and sacrifices , time, energies and determination but receiving life for ever on this earth and seeing all are past away relatives be resurrected and be able to receive them and show them and teach them about the things that have happen , is worth it all . Plus in the beginning you’ll be doing what you love junk removal because yes we are going to have to clean up this earth after what’s about to happen .
Hey guys love your channel. I live up here in Auburn California ridiculous prices on the dumps. $30 a yard. So I have to take it either to Lincoln California or grass Valley California crazy!!
Hi Matt. I am thinking to get a dump trailer for my Chevy van. I don’t know how big I should get, what dimensions is better? And I see some of them are heavy duty trailers and landscape trailers. Which one do you recommend?
@@SonomaStrong nope no signs you have to go to the scale and ask all the prices, yea i know, and what is amazing is it is a very large dump i mean like many 100s of acres big.
@@SonomaStrong actually they dont have anything like that which is odd since they are really big for a dump but no i have to drive up to the scale and ask any price i want to know. but on a good note they do have an electric sign that says 22 for a pickup 24 for a trailer, and 55 dollars a ton for big truck. anything else you must ask.
Sorry if I missed it...but when you calculate your loads and it's around 10 for the estimate, do you collect payment based on that guesstimate? Or when the job is done so you are exact with the number of loads? Thanks! Love the videos!
Enjoying your vids! Do you make an agreement for the customer to sign or anything like that? Do you ever load up and then the customer decides he doesn't want to pay?
