I can't thank you enough for sharing this video. I've been trying to get a second fob key for reasonable cost with no luck. I ordered this kit and it took me 3 minutes to program the new fob and viola! It worked!

first one was defective, Amazon exchanged it right away..tried again and it worked instantly , took less than 2mins...awesome product!!!!!! saved me $300 from Lexus..i have a 2006 IS350

Nice video. Unfortunately after running through exactly the same process 3 times with the identical Dorman setup, I gave up. I had a red light come on but no sync confirmation beep on programmer, then no beeps with the fob/on off button. I'll go out and give it a few more tries, than send it back to Amazon if it fails. Note: The one I bought was an opened unit through Amazon, perhaps defective? Anyway, I appreciate your video, now It's time to go try again.

Hi, I bought the same exact FOB following your link in the comment section. I have a 2008 ES 350 that is suppose to work. I tried 8 times to get this to work and it didn't. Bummer! I followed the simple instructions word for word. It would beep correspondingly with every step indicating the car was in program mode, and it was communicating with the new FOB and programmer, but the replacement FOB was never programed. I hope I can return it and get my money back. Thanks again for the video though.

What about if i dont have the original keyfob (i lost it) how do i program it without it?

Hi all have a mk3 GS300 2007, both my original key fobs, stopped working, have replaced batteries still no response, the electric wing mirrors dont fold or open, and the cental locking doesn't work, so the passenger and back doors don't open as well as the windows for them, all else works, the key fobs light up, but the car doesn't respond to them, can I use techstream to reprogram and reset the old fobs so the car can respond? And if so how please! Only the driver side window works electrical.

What if there is no key at all will it still work with just the key that came in the kit

Hi there. Great video. Any idea if there is any equipment that will do the same for vehicles 2009 an onwards? My particular vehicle is a 2012 IS250 (based in the UK).

Do you know if only certain TPMS can be used in my RAV4 (2022)? In other words, I'm looking for wheels for a winter tire set. What other vehicles would use compatible TPMS sensors so I would have to buy a set.

Hi! I have a 2006 lexus is250. For some reason to unlock the passenger door from the handle (without using the key) stopped working. I really hate taking out the keys to unlock my car, I rather walk up and unlock it with the handle. any suggestions?? thank you

I tried this on my 2006 Lexus IS 250 and heard the beep the first time but I missed a step and had to reset from the beginning. But now I dont hear the beep mentioning that the car is in programming mode. I went through the entire motions but it just plugs in and shows a solid red light (on the programmer in the OBD2). Please help!

Where did you get your actual internal key cut? Did you just go to dealer? I know some need diagrams to cut and I would assume it would be easier to take the internal key in the fob itself to them to get cut

I was able to program one new key but after that when I try to program an additional new one I don't hear any beep after plugging in the programmer. Could I have burned it out somehow by unplugging it without turning the vehicle off? The red light comes on on the programmer so I'm guessing it's still works?

So last key is broken. So can I still do this method with the new key if I only have the one

Is your remote still working? I purchased 1 and it worked great for about 10 days. I replaced the battery and it worked great again for about 10 more days. I sent it back and got a replacement. That one came with a dead battery. I replaced the battery and programed it and it worked just like the other one, about a week. I sent it back for a refund. I am wondering did I just get a couple from a bad batch. Thinking about trying again. How is yours working?
