no don't do all keys lost it will erase all keys stored if u have 1 working key just do add key

If u lost all keys u need a minimum of 2 keys always on fords Lincoln's and mazdas.

on the older ones u could program used ones but from 2011 and up u need new ones

Honestly on that scanner I am not sure since the im608 specializes more on key and ecu programming.

u can program up to 8 keys on ford cars if u delete all of them u will need 2 keys to start the truck. that's how the the system is designed for these cars.

@@JVFIXLLCnot all fordes are the same. The limited was 4 on that explor 20. and just done it yesterday and as soon as I ereesed them all like did an AKL worked perfectly. Sheared it on ma page Dashty ATG

@JVFIX lost all keys, I work for a repo company and they all come without keys, but I did some research and found out that I needed to additionally power the g-box2 with 12v so I did it and I bypassed it successfully

Yea it should work

The new car are still using the same Mercedes encryption and with this tool the im606 you can program new virgin keys to it. I left the link in the bio for afteralmarket keys. Because the dealership won't sell you a key.

I believe u can only change the Vin# on the BCM and in the pcm I think u can only program the keys only.

@@JVFIXLLC so you've never done that before? I tried with FJDS and I could program the pcm when I swap it with one I took from junkyard. But when I wanted to program the keys I couldn't. It's weird.

@@Julicauto yea I have used FJDS to program ecus it's pretty cool. What car r u trying to program keys?

@@JVFIXLLC it was a 2016 ford fusion but I replaced the pcm.

try it again and make sure u don't have ur phone inside the car that could result in interference too

Bad boy you got me wrong. I've this cable and done this vehicles that wasn't my question. I wanted to know how to activate the car remot to start the vehicle.

@@dashtyATG oo ok to start the car with the remote. Well that's a whole different thing if the car didn't come with remote start from factory then you will need to install parts.

@@JVFIXLLC yes you tight but let's say the vehicle is came with it but it's still not working coz it's not been activated 1 you going to need Alfa obd to activate it and 2nd u can find out through the IM608 where there the vehicle is cam wiv a remote start or not those I just found out recentl.

@@JVFIXLLC I understood what you were saying. I just think you took a long difficult way on programming a Ford key fob. When it comes to Ford, I use the automatic option. I let the tablet do all the work.

Could you tell me how u did it. We were adding a key for a dealer today. It had 4 keys already programmed so we erased all keys we could not get the new fob to program and hid key also quit working. We use an Autel im508 any help would be very appreciated
