How to Programme a repeater into the Yaesu FT-857D 

hi, thanks for your Vlog.. Im only a M3 call sign and havent had a radio for about 10 years but ive just won a FT857 and really looking forward to getting back on air.. you vlog is really helpful as im going to use it to gain access to local as well as dx repeaters, well hopefully that is.. thx M3KQC Steve

Anyone know how to enable the fine tuning? I must have buggered some key and it only does course dialing at 15 MHz increments

ok i got it to work but it keeps keying up on the repeater repeatedly so i pwr off

ok i think i solved my own problem, i switched off the vox and it stopped hitting the repeater now i can key up and it hits the repeater once

Ok followed this video (well I think I did) now I can get no RX. Not sure I am TX. Nothing on this channel (my local repeater) Went through the Menu and put everything as per the book. Anyone else have this problem. Thanks

baby steps, why am i able to hit the repeater in vfob mode but when i save the channel ie 1 2 or 3 i can no longer hit the repeater thanks

The only thing missing is to place this in a memory location kg6mn
