How to Propagate an Alocasia Calidora Elephant Ear Plant | Propagating by Separating a Baby Offset 

My Alocasia Calidora is growing three baby offset plants. In this video, I show how to propagate one of the offsets to grow a new plant. The three offsets are growing very close to the mother plant so I have to take a pruning saw and angle it towards the mother plant to separate the offset.
After cutting the rhizome/corm I use my root slayer shovel to dig around the plant. I couldn't get the offset to move so I went back to the pruning saw to cut all around the offset. One last time with the shovel and the offset is loose.
It has some good healthy roots. I pot the Alocasia Calidora offset in a pot using the garden from my soil and some compost. I give the offset lots of water and let the water drain through the pot. I will wait to see if this propagated Calidora survives before propagating the other two offsets.
