No, we need more angles and shots of cutting the cactus, also slow mo, and super slow mow would be nice, oh and like a 15 minute intro with, I don't know, some kind of rap music or screeching cats 😻
Thank you! nice video, I’m excited to replant mine now! Never knew what kind mine was but it’s growing all over the place in this last year! I was not knowing what to do! Now I do! Thanks 😊
If you water a cactus right after getting cut can cause rot. It's best to let the wound callous (dry) for a few days or even weeks to prevent that from happening
@@nm6818 from what I've been reading, let the wound callus (3-14 days? Seems to vary from plant to plant, just be sure it's healed over), then water a little more frequently, NOT generously a it's still a cactus, until the roots have established themselves and then you can water as normal.
Thank you for this straight forward video. exactly what I needed to know + reading through the comments. I think I overwatered mine? its shriveling up :( so Ill just cut and repot. any advice on watering or overwatering?
I’m not sure what kind of cactus I have but I was to propagate it or something like that because it’s toppled over and completely mushy and I want to save it. I’ve never seen this before. The cactus has a purple bulb, not flower, at the top of it and it has spikes like the rest of the cactus. I have a red one exactly like it, but the purple one is mushy and dying. Is there a way to propagate the dying one with the purple part at the top? I’m so sorry for not knowing what it’s called
Is the cactus still okay? Ive never heard of water propagation for cacti and am propagating some right now, i would rlly like to know if it worked and is safe

I wanted to know if I should cut the brown part or the rotting part of the cactus because I wanted to replant my dying cactus. I'm new to this plant and just found out we have one in our home lol and i wanted to save it
