Thumbs up, Awesome! I received the booster kit today. Installed it on my 2012 Ram 1500. Did a hard reset by connecting both battery cables together for a minute or two. Have 50 miles on it right now, so far it's shifting great. I'm a happy customer, thanks.

Excellent ..A lot of folks are scared to touch an Auto box(except to remove and refit as in replace) anything other than that and maybe some adjustment to the linkage there is nothing that they feel they can do..IT isnt, when your car starts to mess about, such as; changing up too quick or missing out gears or not selecting, basically all things to do with gear changes and selection, one quick fix and worth a go if the trans looks awkward to remove or engine, is to go to the local breakers(scrap yard, car dismantlers or what ever you call them there) find your gearbox match(numbers, some can be cross referenced and in other cars) remove the gaerbox sump and remove the "valve body" (it must be kept very very very clean and the oil from the doner must NOT have a brown ish colour to it (plates are worn and that dirt will destroy your valves), it will be held in place by loads of bolts all easy to undo, just dont miss any and dont get the lenths wrong, refit to yours, add the right amount of oil, start on a 3 min tick over and then pull the lever through each gear in turn for 5 secs (twice on tickover) Then praise to whom ever you praise too. every time I have done this, it has worked .. don't pay more than $20 for the valve body clean any spare oil (change it immediately if it works & filter).. it's worth a go as we all know the alternative.. Great video information! I have a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. with the 62TE trans. It just started slipping from 2nd, to third. I changed the filter and fluid. Cleared codes. Drove it around the block gently. It started slipping a little worse with a slight whine. I see a new check engine light. It read P0869. This motor/trans does not have a TCM, just a ECM. This code shows line pressure high. Low fluid, ECM, or wiring issues. Fluid is Ok, would changing the solenoid pack, and Tcc solenoid possibly help? The car has never had any trans issues, I have changed the fluid and filter every 60K. Any recommendations?

I have a general question about a valve body that I can't find an answer to. If you'd be so kind to give me advice I would be grateful. It's regarding a completely different automatic transmission, a SJ6A-EL from a 2017 Mazda MX-5. I saw a video of a mechanic adjusting the "pressure control valve" (boost valve?) without even taking the valve body out. He just used a flathead screwdriver to easily adjust this valve to a higher setting and claimed that this boosts the pressure a little and will improve shifting response. This was on an unmodified valve body with no "shift kit" installed. So My Question is: is it safe for me to adjust this valve to a higher setting or should I leave it alone? Would it really slightly improve shifting even without a full shift kit in the valve body? Keeping in mind that my car is stock, 80k miles and I don't abuse it. It shifts fine the way it is (a little too smooth for my taste) but if I could improve it a little without putting extra wear and tear on the transmission with this simple adjustment that would be great. Thank you for any suggestions on this.

My 545RFE won’t shift into higher gears (my max speed is like 25mph at ~3000rpm), even when I auto-stick shift to 3rd and the instrument cluster says it’s in 3rd, but really isn’t. Will this higher line pressure trick potentially get my Jeep to shift? Either way, cool idea and great video!

03 ram 1500 with 545 RFE here. Ordered your part. My problem is the tranny shifts into low gears too early and very soft shifts. Just had dodge reflash the trans computer. Do you think this will help my problems. I pull a trailer and zero turns every day and can't use this truck cause I believe it will damage the trans.

Does the Rfe's have an external line pressure test port for live fluid psi readings?

I've been working on a 2014 Ram with a Hemi - I know it will benefit from this as I've watched the line pressures && exactly as you've stated Actual && Desired line pressures vary at time && Low Pressure DTC has been set --- however the Engine Stalls without any other DTCs .... could Low Line Pressure cause the engine to stall .?

I have a 2004 545rfe that shifts fine cold and while warming up. Once it reaches normal temp it will shift hard into 3rd, eventually triggering limp mode. The code reads insufficient governor pressure. Will this correct a weak hot pressure symptom?

So I got a superchips programmer..this will or won't improve shifts?..I beleive that the superchips already boosted the shifts.will this improve on that?

2011 ram 5 speed with 152000 miles on trans,no problems but never have service trans. Normally I change my own filter and fluid on trans every 50-60 I but been so busy with work oops life happens. Would you recommend doing this or could I damage trans with not having serviced trans?

This is similar to a "boost fooler" for the turbo, with no actual hard parts that are made for the tuned power. It simply tries to trick the system and from personal experience that is never a good thing because when the system thinks it's doing one thing and it's actually doing something else, that's when things get angry and hate life. If you electronically trick these trucks they hate life. If you want better line pressure spend this money on an actual kit for the valve body. It's not half as scary as it sounds to work on at all. And if your scared to work on your valve body or any part of the transmission just go to Amazon and grab the "ATSG 48re manual" book and it walks you through every single part and how it works and how you take it apart and put it together. A 5year old could rebuild a 47, or 48re with the "ATSG 47, 48RE TRANSMISSION MANUAL BOOK" firepunk also offers the atsg manual on their website and offers phone tech support from a real tech who works strictly on our dodge ram trucks and their transmissions. Not hating on this company at all but these trucks don't like tuning of any sort without hard parts to back up the tuning and your transmission will thank you later 😊
