The process was a lot easier than I expected. I followed the steps to this video and was able to complete the entire process in less than 5 minutes. I have a 2013 BMW X1. The AC was significantly cooler after installing EZ Chill. I liked there was a gauge attached to the hose to make sure I put in the correct amount of refrigerant. Highly recommend.

My AC has not been getting cold enough, and the passenger side seemed warmer than the driver’s side. Sometimes the AC would be cold even when it was hot out and other times it would barely be cold even when it was not above 80 degrees outside. I figured it was probably low on refrigerant as you lose some over time with age and the car is 6 years old. Figured I would give this a try. I started up the AC on my 2015 Sonata Hybrid and let it run a while, it was only coming out at 62 degrees. Put the included pressure gauge on and it was reading just at the top of the green area. So I gave this a try and got it up to the just about the middle of the blue area, did not want to overcharge it. The temperature coming out of the ducts dropped to 38 degrees. Very pleased now, hopefully the problem was just slight loss of refrigerant over time and not a leak that drains it down soon. Will have to wait and see.

Wow, this product has helped me so much for the summer weather in California. I bought this for my Toyota Corolla 05 car because my ac was throwing warm air and none cold. This has brought back my ac to life. 🥶 I will recommend finding RU-vid videos for in use to use it. It was super easy to use! I bought it at Walmart it’s cheaper than Amazon.

I've done this before with this product on a previous car, but this time nothing is happening when attached and I press the button. Everything is tightly connected and it did spray when not connected to the valve to make sure it's discharging something. The can hissed for a sec or two when moving the can around in the positions recommended, but nothing is happening. Any tips?

Hi, I was following all the directions and was able to get the Guage to read blue. But my ac still isn't blowing as cold as it should. How long after getting it to the right amount of refrigerant should it take to blow cold?

Not happy cannot get a good connection with the coupler to connect correctly. I know I'm not the only one having this problem any suggestions. Already seen video not working
@Acprocold
@Acprocold Год назад
What year/make/model do you have. Many newer vehicles use a new refrigerant called R-1234yf that has a completely separate low side port. That could be the reason this coupler won't connect. Or you could be on the high side port. If you find the right port it will fit as the port is standard and the coupler is designed to fit.

Based on the info in our spec database (bottom of this page - www.acprocold.com/a-c-port-finder/) your vehicle uses R-1234yf. It's a new environmentally-friendly refrigerant used on many newer vehicles. You'll need to buy a product with that gas to do a recharge. We sell 1234yf A/C Pro products at O'Reilly's, AutoZone, and Advance Auto.

Should it be leaking from the connection point a bit?

I have a 2016 Dodge Grand caravan and can't get the coupler to firmly attack to the low pressure ac port. Also because of were the port is located I can't get the container to go upright. any suggestions.
@Acprocold
@Acprocold 3 года назад
First, make sure you're actually on the low-side port and not the high side. It may help to pull back the collar on the coupler when snapping on. You can charge without the can being fully upright - you just need to make sure it's not upside down. If a longer hose works, try a can of A/C Pro. It's got a 24" hose, which makes it easier to recharge.

Does the car have to be on while you’re changing it

Yes, the engine must be running and the A/C on max cool.

The quick connection will not fit on my 2021 Mitsubishi outlander sport
@Acprocold
@Acprocold Год назад
Yes, that's correct. This product contains R-134a and your 2021 Outlander uses a new environmentally-friendly refrigerant called R-1234yf. The fittings are unique by law so they can't be used interchangeably. You can learn more about this new gas here. We sell an A/C Pro product you can use. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m9WVVmTTSYM.html

The gauge part won’t stay on the low pressure part on the car
@Acprocold
@Acprocold 3 месяца назад
Couple questions to ask: are you on the correct port? The gauge only connects to the low side port. Do you have the right refrigerant? If your vehicle uses R-1234yf (many newer vehicles do) and you try to connect a R-134a gauge it will not fit. The ports are unique by government regulation.

Wait my car only has one that day H so I’m assuming that’s high can i put it in there? I’ve Done it twice before
@Acprocold
@Acprocold Год назад
The port marked H is the high pressure side. You need to use the one marked L for low pressure side.

How do I connect the adapter to the can for Ez Chill auto a/c
@Acprocold
@Acprocold 2 года назад
Are you referring to the DVA-1 adapter? rechargeac.com/content/dva-1-idq-r-134a-piercing-style-hose-self-sealing-valve-adapter?lid=470 This is not required for the EZ Chill product featured in this video. It's only required if you're using a can with a self-sealing valve and the gauge you have is not compatible. You can find more info here www.acprocold.com/self-sealing-valve/

Some people say open all your car doors. Is this correct?
@Acprocold
@Acprocold Год назад
You don't need to do that for a recharge. It certainly won't hurt but not necessary.
@Mangino_

The gauge was in the red. Why?
@Acprocold
@Acprocold 2 года назад
It could be showing high pressure for many reasons. If you connect the gauge to your system without turning on the engine and A/C it will show high pressure. Or there could be various other issues causing high pressure. If you pressure is high you most likely have another issue besides low refrigerant so it's not recommended to add more refrigerant.
